Is it me or has anyone else noticed more intoxicated people at WS since the closing of PI? At our 4th of July stay I couldn't help notice more people walking around pie-eyed.Not cool when there are a lot of kids present.

Yes, definitely! Some drunk dads, but mostly what I've seen is young, belligerent college kids with "drink around the world" t-shirts. They push and shove and yell, and don't seem to care about anything but drinking. Somehow, the whole park becomes a club to them. Very disappointing when you're trying to enjoy your vacation in peace.

Epcot is a place where adults can be adults. I'm guilty of it as well and the alcohol isn't going anywhere.

I see a lot of drunk people all the time there. Once during F&W I saw some REALLY drunk idiotic acting people. I'm sure they don't last long before being asked to leave. Never was there a problem or I felt it was out of hand...and I don't even drink.

That's true, but being "adult" doesn't have to mean being intoxicated to the point that it is noticeable. If people want to drink in World Showcase, that's fine and that's part of the draw for some folks. But obviously drunken people should be (and I'm sure often are) escorted out of the park.

I`ve seen (and heard) some people in the evening during F&W who would disgrace Six Flags, let alone Epcot. The tiny minority spoil it for everyone else.

And being a "child" doesn't have to mean screaming your head off to a point that it's noticeable to people within 50 feet of you either but they are never escorted out of the park.

I agree with this but for one exception. There is a difference between having a good time drinking, and stumbling all over the WS acting like a fool causing a scene.

I've had a blast going around the world in Epcot but I also know how to control myself. It would be a huge mistake to take alcohol away from Epcot, and I don't think they will...hopefully. :)

True but as adults we have self control and the ability to reason beyond what kids do. That's why we have the classification of adult and kid... :)

Within reason - If people are walking around shouting, pushing, or shoving regardless of alcohol or not it is not a good thing- we should all be respectful of the places we share with other people and have a little class.
