I have an idea that could settle this once and for all. I'm not sure if Edie Sotto is allowed to talk about it, but this was definitely something that was in the works during his tenure at WDI. If this is something he can discuss, feel free to summon him.

How about you provide your plans, with the requisite facts and figures, and stop passing the buck off to others?

PeterAlt, was this possibly around 1991 that you saw that in Communicore? Because I remember being in Communicore around that time, and remember seeing a sign about a new section to be opened in Communicore about upcoming attractions, but it wasn't opened yet. And I remember thinking about wishing I could see that.

Both you two

Sure, when you give us the facts and figures of your plan. Not someone else's, not Disney's from decades past, but the one you've stated time and time again that you have.

It takes time to put together. Just chill, please.

No one said anything about my new avatar. It's a sign that they made but never used (ala photoshop).

Other than the overlay, I have no other evidence yet. I am looking, though. I've said this how many times?

And why does it matter?
Because you start a thread claiming undeniable evidence, then show one photoshopped diagram and a bunch of old construction pictures where you claim footers are visible. Sorry dude, take it to the armchair imagineering forum.

You're the one who said you had it, was ready to go to Bombadier, Disney (or whomever) with it. You keep coming back here making allusions to "your plan" but then go back to referring to anyone else that had a plan, pictures or diagrams. You want us to stop "bashing" you, show the facts and figures surrounding this grand design of yours.

I thought the constructions would help but those are the wrong ones and I can't find the ones I was talking about. The overlay clearly shows the one exposed footer is directly over the proposed route exactly where it should be. If that's not evidence enough for you, it's certainly enough for me.

Did not. I was either talking about what I already posted or was talking about the more detailed ones I'm working on.

PeterAlt, if that was an actual sign that was made by Disney, that's proof enough for me that they had much grander plans for the monorail system. I remember back in 1991 when I first stayed at the Beach Club, that at the time they had a tram (similar to the parking lot trams) that went back and forth between the Yacht and Beach Clubs and Epcot, along the sidewalk there to the International Gateway entrance. And I remember talking to cast members at the Beach Club who informed me that soon they were going to build the Boardwalk resort across the lake in what was then just swamp area, which I didn't believe at the time because it just looked like unbuildable swamp. But they also mentioned the plans that the monorail was going to go through that area, possibly servicing the resorts, and that the loop inside Epcot was just temporary until they expanded it to the Studios. I know I didn't just dream that, lol.
