I bet those creative owners would be hacked if the value of their stake dropped substantially, creativity or not.
Creativity is already paying dividends. Look at Cars Land. That's what happens when the creatives take charge. Sure, it cost a lot to build, but look at DCA attendance.

I'd have to check the time lines, but I don't think those two owners you referenced we're such big owners when they started the development and implementation of Carsland.

I summon @wm49rs to fetch said info.

That's strange that Disney can be losing market share but have a huge demand for new facilities, which you are using to defray the cost of your proposed monorail expansion.
They wouldn't be loosing market share in Florida if they do what Comcast is doing with Uni - invest in their parks. My plan calls for it to coincide with an investment and expansion of DHS. It can't work economically if that wasn't part of it.

I thought your plan was an expansion of convention and retail space.

The Jobs Family was. Now Lucas is on board. His ownership strengthens the power of the creatives. Just owning shares has nothing to do with management or a budget for a project like CL. However, they can tip the balance of votes for when it comes time to elect new executives.

It doesn't matter. Jobs was and John Lassetter is why CL happened and why it got the budget it got. Jobs made sure that Lassetter took creative control of the company as part of the Pixar deal. Any way, the shareholders do not micro manage the executives. They do vote on who becomes the company executives each term cycle. If they are not pleased, they can vote them out.

If management falls asleep behind the wheel and lets Uni take Disney market share, you bet your bottom dollar, they will exercise their voting power and vote them out.

This entire thread is so far down the rabbit hole I have no idea which way is up....

Then again, neither does the OP....

By the way, have you seen the next Curiosity Mars rover images? Well, guess what? Even Mars has footers!

Go see the movie Trance. Maybe that will balance your equilibrium.

My equilibrium is fine, and that movie doesn't have much to do with it. Much like this thread having anything to do with double-secret probation plans for expanding the monorails....
