Ashley Brown played the starring role for Mary Poppins and Beauty & the Beast on Broadway. I count that as a Broadway Star.

Anyone
Debatable, she did get a drama desk nod for her role in Poppins, but again when i said star earlier i mean above the marquee star that people buy tickets to a show to go and see. Sure they are all talented, but not all stars are made equal.

Nothing stops you from still enjoying Epcot.

except running into beer carts or drunk humans....really is an awful example of what that place has become. lackluster rides some on life support coupled to the worlds largest outdoor bar with a cover charge! sad too its my favorite park. Sometimes i still stand under spaceship earth and soak it all in. Least until it becomes a zoo. last time we went it legit took 40 minutes from being waived through the toll booth to entering the park. (during F&W)

edit: i am a firm believer that ANY park event should not overly impact guests not wishing to partake in said event...hey i love cracking a beer at EPCOT but i would rather not do it surrounded by drunk 20 somethings with drunk mickey shirts. (AND IM 27) granted i feel my generation is an awful representation of me.

I'll be there the first weekend (Staying at Boardwalk) and I'm a Star. If you see me and ask nice I'll let you get a selfie

The art crowd on a Monday really drives those drinkers out to Epcot! Honestly, I felt the kiosks at Flower and Garden never really have caught on the same way as Food and Wine.

I feel like flower and garden brings out an older more subdued crowd. Every time i did one of those gardening workshops its all young couples or old couples then me.... lol

There have been many comments before about how Epcot is turning into a festival-o-rama. I took them as facetious. It's now very much true.
  • Festival of the Arts: January 13 - February 20
  • Flower and Garden Festival: March 1 - May 29
  • Summer Concert Series: July-August
  • Food and Wine Festival: Mid-September - Mid-November
  • Holidays Around The World: November 25 - December 30
Food & Wine is actually going to be extended for 2017 check it out! http://www.wdwmagic.com/events/inte...festival-begins-earlier-than-ever-in-2017.htm

I am going to F&W this year with a few girlfriends.. one of them is pressuring us to do F&G instead. She hated F&W this year..No, not because of drinking, she said the crowds were extreme..more than she's ever experienced, and that F&G crowds were much more manageable.
I can't fit it in my schedule..so we're stuck with F&W... I would rather do this new one actually.

Umm, it states that they won't be online until Jan 6th. What number did you call?
Umm, it says: A complete list of offerings will be available online starting Jan. 6. You can book now by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

And the article headline is:
Bookings Begin Today for Select Experiences During Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Exactly. Perhaps I'm not an imbecile and Disney is once again showing poor interdepartmental communication?

Umm... So @LuvtheGoof was correct.
  • The Festival begins Jan 13.
  • Online bookings can't be made until Jan 6.
  • Pick-up-the-phone bookings are supposed to be available right now.
So, @LuvtheGoof asked what number was used to call since online bookings don't start until Jan 6.

If anyone is using 407-WDW-PLAY and getting an unclued CM, ask for your call to be sent up the chain.

The various classes remind me of The Disney Institute. It's appropriate that Epcot would now have somthing similar.

I just called - Workshops are being booked by Recreation (Option 3). It was $83.08 for two and check in is at Odyssey.

However, dining packages are being done through the Limited Offerings (Option 8).
