Once I became a local, Hollywood became amazing, because if you treat Hollywood and Epcot as one mega park (as I began doing), it’s the best park in the world. Start in Hollywood, hit a few great rides, then hop to Epcot once you’re hungry and enjoy the food, shows, ambiance, etc.

Epcot primarily lacks elite attractions (especially until Guardians opened) whereas Hollywood pretty much only has elite attractions, so they’re really nice to have side-by-side.
This is how I treat any "Hollywood Studios day" at this point even as a non-local occasional visitor. Especially with early entry, I can wrap up basically everything I want to do there before noon and then grab lunch at either EPCOT or the Riviera before chilling for the rest of the day on EPCOT rides. HS needs some major changes if they want to keep me there longer than that.

For them to circle back to DHS makes me think MMRR wasn't the draw they had hoped.

Not at all I suspect. I think what has happened is DHS is too popular but doesn’t have the capacity to deal with the crowds it draws. Because of their crappy planning when redoing the park.

They definitely needed multiple additional higher capacity rides to compliment the rides they did build. Keeping GMR around have been a good start.

Orlando still likes the idea of Carsland/ RSR but they're hesitant on pulling the trigger just yet, unless things changed. But it could be somethings else entirely.

starting to think they are still currently or they were at least considering that for beyond big thunder....I know everyone says DHS DHS, but I could see them going that route at MK....one I would welcome over the zootopia copy...which is a horrible fit for MK and of course low budget. They dont care so much anymore about what fits or long term planning sadly.

Cars Land at MK would be BONKERS.. in a good way. That place has three rides, one being infinitely better than anything else "new" at MK. They could really jack up the prices of their monorail hotels.

Oh gosh, remember when my source said that the Beyond Big Thunder plan that was closest to being greenlit wasn't any of the previously discussed options? And that the IP they had in mind was, in my source's words, "ridiculous" for Magic Kingdom? Uh oh... 🫣

I mention strategy #2 because I recently got an email asking for advice about G+. When I asked for details about the trip, the response was "We're doing 2 days at MK, 1 at EP, and 1 at HS."

I would love to see how many people are skipping AK like that. And this person has a 2-BR at BLT for a week. They have the money and the time.

I'm not surprised to hear this.

People going to WDW, but not doing all 4 parks is more common than people on a Disney fan site would think.

I don't think it's that bad. They did put star wars in Disneyland...tho I would prefer it in hs with the other Pixar ip.
