Wasn’t the first concept art the blue sky from last year? Could’ve been from long before the plans were finalized. How did it look in the D23 model?

Looks accurate to the concept art from D23
I find it funny that the Dino Institute’s octagon dome roof is still there.
Yeah, it’s now only on paramount since it’s paramount films. Disney should renew the license again, they not only have a new ride but a triple A Indy game coming soon. They should bank on thatMeanwhile, all but the final Indy film just left Disney+.
It’s entirely possible they’ll reuse the queue’s existing architecture, at least structurally.I find it funny that the Dino Institute’s octagon dome roof is still there.
Do you have information that Indy has been scaled down or this just your perception based off of concept art?
Just trying to understand.
If the brand isn’t worth paying to keep it on your streaming platform, is it worth the retheme?Meanwhile, all but the final Indy film just left Disney+.
Two questions.
Yes.
Also, the model is not longer that accurate to go by.
So do you think the quality of the experience will no longer be on par with California and Tokyo? That would be insane, especially since the structure and ride system is already there. Does Disney just not have any money?
It's good to know this now rather than being disappointed in several years.I think it will be "good enough" for some, but lately that number is dwindling. I think in some ways it could make for a more intense experience because less big open areas than the other two. But as far as the big "world" of the temple interacting. NO.
I don't think we are getting large amounts of skulls from floor upwards like in the others. The queue will be much different than either.

I think I speak for all of us in saying that I sincerely appreciate your information and insights about this.

I’m going to be honest, I don’t really think you have a source. You’re just basing things off concept art and comparing them to blue sky that obviously look different while also being quite incredibly vague in what will differ. It is sad we were only expected a thin facade over the Dino institute.
That being said. Since it is a retheme of existing everything. Shouldn't the theming be the one thing that impresses the most?
This seems like the same company and process we went through with Tiana and EPCOT.
Enjoy it by all means. But realistically. Expect the status quo of where the company is at. Hopefully the staging and such is just a fun time. But I think people need to keep expectations a bit in check.
Thanks for the heads up. It could still be a great ride - I like Mission Breakout, and that was a retheme. But now I won't be expecting 30 years worth of creative improvements like I was for, say, Paris' Pirates & Mansion in '92.
(Oh my goodness! The time between Paris Pirates opening and the original DL Pirates opening is LESS than the time between DL Indy and DAK Indy!!!)

Comcast/Universal doesn't have Marvel IP on Peacock, and yet have Marvel IP in their park.If the brand isn’t worth paying to keep it on your streaming platform, is it worth the retheme?
i guess it depends on what happened behind the scenes…. I’m assuming Disney didn’t want to continue paying the licensing.Comcast/Universal doesn't have Marvel IP on Peacock, and yet have Marvel IP in their park.
Synergy is great, but it doesn't always happen because of historical selling off of licenses to different companies and then issues of mergers.
