DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

There has been talk, but more recently, the concept art changes have been brought up. At least in terms of perspective and expectation.

This gives the impression of many stairs, crumbling and looking like a south American Temple similar to the scale of the facade of Tokyo's. View attachment 818942

The more recent artwork...

Just barely covers the height of the current Dinosaur Entrance, which is not the tallest building in the world either. You can still see the basic shape on the sides of this and the temple very small.
Ahhhhhh, okay. The first one is blue sky iirc, so I was kinda expecting the latter anyway, also thought you were more talking about the interior of the attraction. It's.... fine, though the blue sky version is so much better and still fits the underlying architecture. I still say they should've kept Dinosaur if they were going to try to save cash unnecessarily.

It is sad we were only expected a thin facade over the Dino institute.

That being said. Since it is a retheme of existing everything. Shouldn't the theming be the one thing that impresses the most?

This seems like the same company and process we went through with Tiana and EPCOT.

Wasn’t the first concept art the blue sky from last year? Could’ve been from long before the plans were finalized. How did it look in the D23 model?

So do you think the quality of the experience will no longer be on par with California and Tokyo? That would be insane, especially since the structure and ride system is already there. Does Disney just not have any money?

I think it will be "good enough" for some, but lately that number is dwindling. I think in some ways it could make for a more intense experience because less big open areas than the other two. But as far as the big "world" of the temple interacting. NO.

I don't think we are getting large amounts of skulls from floor upwards like in the others. The queue will be much different than either.

It's good to know this now rather than being disappointed in several years.

I think I speak for all of us in saying that I sincerely appreciate your information and insights about this.

Enjoy it by all means. But realistically. Expect the status quo of where the company is at. Hopefully the staging and such is just a fun time. But I think people need to keep expectations a bit in check.

Just trying to understand.

Your latest post you deleted while I typed this, means this statement of yours from earlier was not the case. I don't take it personally, but I would rather you not say you are just trying to understand and then post asking me to provide you with my sources and then telling me you think I am full of it.
