If anyone expects the plans Disney outlined at D23 to continue as announced after today’s events, I’m afraid you have a surprise coming. The AK renovation MAY adhere to its schedule, but I wouldn’t be shocked by significant cuts and it’s likely every other project slows to a crawl (if it moves at all).
☹️ no offense but I hope you end up being wrong

I must have missed something. What happened? (if it's politics related, you can just PM me)
Either way, I hope whatever happened kills the ROA replacement.

Often the cutbacks are made in the wrong place…. Little Mermaid being a prime example - so much fancy rockwork and then you look at plastic fish glued to the wall.

The Encanto ride is the most promising, to me, of anything announced recently. I don’t care if it’s trackless or not but I want it to be good! We need a good Disney dark ride. The world of Encanto could really mix some of the mystery of the haunted mansion with a classic fantasyland dark ride in a unique and fun way.
