I don't disagree. As stated on last page the tangled ride looks fantastic, if we could get that kind of quality in either or God forbid both....I see no problem with WDI's focus on boat rides. Build as many as you can to WDW.
Walt Disney World has the Blessing of Wet.Okay, I have to admit I am slow here. But is Disney and Imagineering only locked into boat dark rides now?
Moana, Encanto, and LK (if it moves forward) will all have you in boats.@PREMiERdrum what was the latest leading rumor on what the type of ride this could potentially be? I know many here had hoped it would be similar to Mystic Manor, but was a more classic boat ride type the one that emerged (again knowing it's all still rumor until officially announced)
But those same dino's are still working at DL, 65 years laterRight. And they were moved to Disneyland in 1966, when they were three years old. The energy dinosaurs were almost forty years old. So yes, too old.
Okay, well, after an investigation of less than 3 minutes, it seems they were inspired by The Great Rift Valley, which has some very beautiful lakes, so I don't think there will be any conflict . https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/article/see-lion-king-inspiration-hells-gate-national-parkLK as in Lion King? With boats? It's not exactly a water friendly region of the world.

I just don't recall many river scenes in the movie. Perhaps a watering whole and a waterfall.Okay, well, after an investigation of less than 3 minutes, it seems they were inspired by The Great Rift Valley, which has some very beautiful lakes, so I don't think there will be any conflict . https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/article/see-lion-king-inspiration-hells-gate-national-park
That's the Safari. So, it's a little odd to even need a LK ride.Would riding in a mechanized vehicle somehow be more fitting for Lion King? A boat ride is probably we can get to a "natural" form of transportation for a ride.
Really, the whole of Discovery Island, Africa, and Planet Watch are already suffused with Lion King DNA to the point that I’ve never thought a Lion King ride was particularly necessary. Not that I’d turn my nose up at such a ride or anything, though. That's the Safari. So, it's a little odd to even need a LK ride.
Lion King reverse launch coaster confirmed.Moana, Encanto, and LK (if it moves forward) will all have you in boats.
But, like, different boats.
Is the idea that LK would be a flume, MOANA would utilize shanghai pirates tech & ENCANTO would be the classic boat ride sytem?Lion King reverse launch coaster confirmed.
Maybe if you made it look like an African animal, like a wildebeest or something...Would riding in a mechanized vehicle somehow be more fitting for Lion King?

I enjoyed it far more than the movie, and did it several times in one sitting!(Does anyone remember Lion King 1 1/2’s dvd menu theme park ride? Amazing.)
