I enjoyed it far more than the movie, and did it several times in one sitting!(Does anyone remember Lion King 1 1/2’s dvd menu theme park ride? Amazing.)

wow, yes vaguely, its been so long though...wonder if I still have that one will have to look.(Does anyone remember Lion King 1 1/2’s dvd menu theme park ride? Amazing.)
not if my idea was for Lion King to replace Dinosaur instead of Indiana Jones. That's the Safari. So, it's a little odd to even need a LK ride.
Let's add Jungle Book. It makes complete sense.Moana, Encanto, and LK (if it moves forward) will all have you in boats.
But, like, different boats.
It would make even less sense to have a Lion King attraction not in Africa.not if my idea was for Lion King to replace Dinosaur instead of Indiana Jones.
My concept was not Tropical America's, but instead what DisneySea did with Fantasy Spring's but instead built on 3 other franchises. For me it would be Lion King, Jungle Book and Encanto!* it would be called Nature Spring'sIt would make even less sense to have a Lion King attraction not in Africa.
Really, the whole of Discovery Island, Africa, and Planet Watch are already suffused with Lion King DNA to the point that I’ve never thought a Lion King ride was particularly necessary. Not that I’d turn my nose up at such a ride or anything, though.
There should be a Lion King spinner in which the vehicles alternate predator, prey, predator, prey....I feel like cries for a Lion King or Jungle Book dark ride to fill in some of the park's missing mid-letter ticket space has been a thing for the last 20 years.
Do NOT slow down for a video of a snake eating a goat on Facebook under ANY circumstances. It’s all you’ll see for weeks. Damn the algorithm. There should be a Lion King spinner in which the vehicles alternate predator, prey, predator, prey....
And call it "The Circle of Life."
Interesting…
So...Still wet, last I've heard.
I was about to make a joke that it was a water omnimover, but I didn't think this was a real thing!So...
Disney Develops New "Floating Omnimover"
Disney has developed a "floating omnimover." Disney summarizes the new ride technology as: The inventors recognized that one potential way to create a new and very different omnimover ride would be to create a floating or water-based omnimover ride. With that concept or idea in mind, the...forums.wdwmagic.com

Reminds me of the Storybook Land in Paris.I was about to make a joke that it was a water omnimover, but I didn't think this was a real thing!
If this is another LM/Nemo omnimover style, I am not impressed. They are so boring.
I think we can all agree that an Encanto trackless ride would probably fit the movie best and would be a cool idea, but I don't think it's the best idea for animal Kingdom right now. Trackless rides have proven to be unreliable, at least in Walt Disney World, so as cool it would be I think an omnimover or boat ride (with a similar capacity to ITASW or Pirates) is the best option for Animal Kingdom. A high capacity indoor ride (that won't shut down for weather) is exactly what Animal Kingdom needs right now imo.I don't think anyone would be impressed by another Little Mermaid or Nemo; they're just bad/poorly designed rides. Nemo was shoehorned into a space that wasn't even intended to host an attraction.
A new E ticket omnimover could be fantastic, though -- some of the best attractions Disney has ever built are in this category (Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, Horizons, Journey into Imagination, etc.). Plus, a high capacity family friendly ride is exactly what DAK needs.
A boat ride would also fit as a high capacity family friendly attraction, though, and it seems like that's what we're actually getting.

YESSSSSSSSI have mentioned this many times and still stand by and expect down the line that the Name of the Park will change to Disney's Adventure Kingdom to fix this situation..
