this doesnt sound good

"Nick met back up with us today after we ate at 50's Prime Time. They had a walk in, so we took it. We ordered our food, the waiter walked away. Seriously 2 minutes later our food came out. What the hell is up with that? It really really tasted like it was from the day before and they heated it up. My mashed potatoes had that dry film gravy gets when it sits too long. Here is the kicker...I kid you not, and I have photographic proof...Colleens chicken...had feathers on it. Yeah...feathers. We just paid and left. I am going to for sure type a letter to the correct personnel about this whole experience. I would have done it there but I was WAY too upset to be "reasoning" with someone at that point."

WOW...that is quite the sour experience to say the least. We ate at 50's a week ago and were very pleased with the entire experience, food included.

Very unfortunate to hear about this. I hope you are able to get some answers about what went wrong.

Your a better person than me I guess, I would have showed a manager the feathers and walked the hell out.

Why did you pay and leave? I would've complained right then. If you would've complained right away they could've corrected it so other guests wouldn't have the same thing happen that day.

eww feathers!
that's gross - I would've freaked out. I don't even like meat with bones it, let alone feathers. I've never eaten there before, but I'm sorry you had such a bad experience!

What time did you guys go for the Sci Fi Dine-In?

If it was for lunch, it can be rather hectic and thus may have been why your meal was like so...

And feathers?

  1. Well, it was certainly fresh then. :lookaroun
  2. I usually stick to something safe in any WDW table service restaurant. Like the Reuben.
  3. Please show us photographic proof...

It was 50's Prime Time, not Sci Fi.

I don't care how "hectic" it is. If they simply reheated the food, there's no excuses.

I would have complained right then. Why pay for something that was substandard? We've eaten there before and loved it, but if that's what you got, no way would I have paid for that.

I would've freaked out----Don't you mean "beaked out" :lookaroun :lookaroun :lookaroun

Who here wants to punch me for that pun???:)

Actually when I told Micki this yesterday she said "I have to pretend chicken is a magical plant that someone just brings to me..."

Because I didnt want to deal with it at that point and time. I didnt want to be there and waste more time than I already had. It will get taken care of...

Might i suggest a direct letter to Meg Crofton? I had an incident from 2 years ago and we wrote her and it was handled to my satisfaction.

I find that worked better than email.
