Dumb guests doing dumb things.....

Since there's no real bar at the MK, and since people pretty much only drink beer & wine with a meal, then no, people at the MK aren't getting drunk, unless they come through the front gates drunk.

I had forgot about my DCA day a couple weeks ago. This kid around 10-12 age zone runs hops onto the rails and then jumps up to and hang times onto the over pass for Radiator Spring Racers, which is a feat into it self. His mom is telling little Jimey to stop as she is pushing the stroller with a younger daughter. She doesn't stop and when he finally lets go, he land on his own sister on top of the stroller. Hes crying, Shes Crying, the mom trying to get order. We are waiting in the que, and the mom and kids are in ear shot in the switch back que style. She is on the phone yelling at her husband, who apparently jumped into the single rider line because he wasn't going to wait since they would take three seats and he would have to ride with two others anyway, he went single rider. Awkward loud conversion you could hear both sides over the phone.
One thing we do is nice cheap souvenir is squished pennies. Some times they have quarter squishers too. So we were at a penny squisher that had a quarter squishier next to it. This lady comes up, puts in two quaters and was like hey no penny slot. I tell her look it is a quarter squisher not a penny one. She looks see the $1 and proceeds to add the other two quarters and hit her selection. The quarter pops out. She was like where was the penny. I go it is a quarter squisher you get a squished quarter instead. We finish with the penny. and she goes I want pennies starts doing the penny machine and leaves the squish quarter. we ask if we can take it and she goes thats fine i only wanted the pennies.

I went to Disney with my friend when we were 21 plans to get drunk at the happiest place on earth. Spent a small fortune at the Neon Cactus, the bar at Disneyland Hotel at the time, and then ride the Monorail, to hit the mountains drunk.

Did you hit the mountains with the remnants of any of your drinks? ;)

Well the general rule is never shake a drunk person, but factor in the 10-15 minute wait for the Monorail, the 10 minutes to travel and get off. Hitting Space Mountain the closest with a 45 Minute wait in the evening back then. No FP yet. The "Drunk" was a nice buzz. Then hitting Matterhorn, and BTMRR, we were only lightly buzzed. Now, with FP, you could get on a ride fully hammered.

The earlier joke someone wrote about the ducks came true

I started it but never thought anyone would take me seriously...
End of our trip last month, we tagged on one night at Beach Club so we could hit the first night of Food and Wine (one good thing about driving vs. flying - you can come and go whenever you want without a need to get to the airport).
Before heading to Epcot we wanted to go to Stormalong, and tried to get to Beach Club early enough because it looked like it was fixing to rain. I don't think it ever did that rain that day but by the time we got to the hotel (maybe 11:15 am-ish) lightning had been spotted within a 6 mile radius so the pool was already closed.
Looking at the closed pool, I saw some ducks swimming. Just to amuse myself and my wife (spoiler alert, she's never amused when I do things like this) I put on my best Loud Dumb Guy Voice and said "Hey if it's dangerous to US why are they letting the ducks swim? We PAID to be here!" And I cracked myself up.

A few minutes later I legit heard someone complaining to a lifeguard why they'd let ducks swim but not paying customers.

If that’s what people want to do then fine but not only are they going to have a bad time but they will ruin it not only for themselves but many others as well. Riding with loud obnoxious drunks is not fun, secondly they run the risk of puking on other guests mid ride or out in the open which is not fun for anyone who has to witness that and especially not for the poor CM who has to clean up after them. It’s very childish, selfish and irresponsible behaviour. I frequently see edgy teens posting that they are going to Disney high on drugs or smashed off their faces on alcohol.. pathetic, especially when young children will be witnessing these antics.

Last trip. A family of four pulled up to the bus stop outside of bldg. 8 POR. The father was fiddling with a stroller (packing it up to bring it on the bus). As he was doing this a bus pulled up and he quickly glanced up then hurriedly folded the stroller and quickly gathered his family and hopped on the bus.

Problem was he was going to the Magic Kingdom and they all (because of his wisdom) jumped on the Animal Kingdom bus.

Wait.....that was me.

I saw the word "Kingdom" and just instinctively correlated that to "Magic". Wasn't that bad. Hopped off at AK, caught a transfer to the Contemporary and then walked over to MK. Just barely made the window for my first FP.

Wasn't the first time.......and I know it won't be the last.

The idiot woman this evening yelling (screaming, really) at a DS transportation CM because she thought the bus for POR/POFQ was taking too long. I guess Princess thought she was above waiting. 🙄🙄🙄 She looked like a donkey’s behind.
