Up for it? No.
Want it? Maybe, but not as much as you want Staggs'. Either one, you'd get my vote.

I really appreciate that. I'll buy you a plush for saying so. And you are quite right, I'd much rather have one division that I am capable of running to its best than being the figurehead who has to answer to Wall Street, analysts, media etc.

You are moving up ...:D

Jason is walking the fine line of wanting to edgy enough that the Sentinel sees his worth on the payroll (Kristin Ford kissed Disney's right out of the newsroom), but also wanting to ensure that he can keep his contacts at Disney and still get the interviews and quotes (which is also key to keeping his job). I don't know how investigative and "hardball" he wants to be anyways. Its a pretty peach job if you like entertainment and attractions.

Let's just say I think he is comfortable in his position and that is a very bad place for a bulldog reporter to be (which he is not) ... he needs to tackle the tough stories, things we haven't even thought of
and instead it is more of the same predictable stuff. He never writes anything that makes you go WOW. Or really makes you think.

So very accurate. Except I go to Coffee Bean, not Starbucks. LOL have you lived here in California before??? And In N Out sounds so amazing right now.

Hell, yeah. What you read above could be considered a typical day for me when I was bi ... bi-coastal (get your minds out of my bedroom!) from roughly 2001-2008 (although was there quite a bit from 98-01 too) and living about 35 minutes without traffic from DLR. ... And having had an overpriced chicken sandwich at McD's three hours ago, I also could have gone for In N Out too!

I know it is pretty much completely off topic. But I have been craving In N Out Burger! It has been years since I have had it and the prospect of getting to have it in mere weeks has me wanting it like crazy.

Oh my gosh, tell me about it! I actually haven't eaten n almost five weeks and the thought of eating In N Out, which is my favorite fast food restaurant, is making things worse. I remember when I moved out of my house, I hadn't had In N Out in months. When I moved back in, I went to In N Out five times in one week. Man, I am really hungry. You're coming to California in a few weeks?

Your past life sounds a lot like mine right now. Goodness, don't get me started on Mickey D's and their cheap and inferior food. Speaking of burgers, Tommy's sounds good right now too.

I'll believe it when I see it under construction ... and real construction. Not the Flamingo Crossing type or the last 4-5 years of absolutely nothing of substance at TSFKaPI.

I know they have plans. We all have plans, though!
Yep, until constructions starts it counts for nothing. But I'm confident they will do it.

The last couple of times I've been back in SoCal, my In-N-Out experiences have been kind of disappointing -- the Double Double and fries I had at the Sunset & Orange location earlier in the year were especially lackluster.

I don't know whether that's due to the fact that months and months of deprivation can build anticipation to such high levels that they can't possibly be met, or whether I've just had more and more opportunities to have franchise burgers that are at least on the same level as In-N-Out in the years since I lived in CA (Five Guys, Shake Shack, etc.), or what...

However, I've never been disappointed by a frosty Pure Dark Chocolate Ice Blended from Coffee Bean... wish they'd expand to more of the U.S.!

Yeah, but it is still way too late.

If they started now, it would probably be at least 6 years since PI closed before we would see anything.
Well nothing we can do about that. All water under the PI bridge. I'm certainly not going to a hold a grudge due to a delay. I'm looking forward to a much bigger and better DTD.
