Do your kids sing Disney songs?

I'm 17 years old & work at Girl Scout camp during the summer. I have between 8 & 24 girls in my goup each week. My favorite group was the one that agreed to sing "It's a Small World" for Scout's Own, which is the serious campfire on the last night of camp. Of course, other Disney songs are considered to be camp songs.

I also have about 3 CDs worth of Disney music on my ipod.

No kids here but I do have a great amount of Disney music on my ipod ranging from the movie soundtracks all the way to the theme park music. My friends think its funny that I have so much Disney music however I only let them see my "real" music playlist

I have been taking my daughters ipod walking with me every morning and she has that song on it, What Time Is it. I really like it.:ROFLOL: It's funny to be a 38 year old woman walking to Disney music.

My 6 and 4 year old like to sing the songs but then they forget the words and ask me to sing it which is NOT a very pretty sight (or sound, lol) but I love it, I think its so cute!

Yes... and they come by it honest...

Shoot, I'm a 34 yr. old -their dad- and I even have HSM's "Together Forever", Little Mermaid "Part of Your World", PotC's "Yo! Ho!" & movie music, HM's "Grim Grinning Ghosts, MSEP theme music, Kim Possible quotes and sound effects, and Mickey Mouse Club theme all saved to my cell phone!!

Radio Disney on SIRIUS in the truck, DVD's & VHS's, and Disney Channel in the house...

They can't help but sing the soundtracks!

And then, we watch our vacation videos all the time (which I add Disney music too... attraction music and effects, soundtracks, area music, etc... on slide shows of stills and videos....)

Yep. They're set for life.:ROFLOL:

We took our 4 yr. old to WDW for his first visit in July. Prior to that, he had only limited exposure to what WDW was all about based on the planning videos and some of the music we play in the car.
He never really got into the CD's we played.
However, after going in July, he is now OFFICIALLY a Disney nut (approaching the level that I am!).

Not only does he sing along to the Splash Mountain Medley, Yo Ho Yo Ho, etc., he has given us a play-by-play of the fountains and Earth Globe opening sequence during Illuminations (we saw it only twice during his trip)... AND he can literally describe the water features, fire, characters, and story for every moment of Fantasmic when we play it in the car (he has seen Fantasmic once ever!!)
It seriously brings tears to my eyes to here him describe with such detail, these things! Before the trip, we had thought that he might be too young to appreciate it, but now we realize that he appreciated WDW more than many people ever could in a lifetime.

Talk about Magic!

shoooooooooot.... I sing Disney songs randomly. Particularly "How Do You Do?" and "Zip a dee do da" from Song of the South.

and I dunno if ya'll know this one....BUT...."Monkey's Uncle" is one of my favorite Disney songs! It's right up there with "I Wanna Be Like You"

We have a disney cd in the car with this song on it and my little boy loves it. I have been playing it not stop to get us in the mood for our trip in 16 days! He likes the "let's get together" song to b/c he always chimes in with the "yeah yeah yeah" .

My 4 year old son is walking around singing "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me"! :ROFLOL: I guess my love of Disney has rubbed off on him! He also has been finding change around the house and putting it our "Disney World Piggy Bank"! heeheehee
They are more into finding "hidden Mickey's."
They try to find them everywhere!
My DD will draw Mickey's head & ears on anything she is writing or drawing on & calls it a "hidden Mickey."
I have some round suction cups on my car windshield that I use to display my kid's school car rider signs for when I pick them up in the afternoons. I have moved them a couple of times & my DD noticed three circles in the shape of Mickey's head & ears from the imprint of the suction cups.
I also make them "hidden Mickey" pancakes for b'fast. :slurp:

My kids love finding hidden mickeys, too! They will find them anywhere.

My daughter insists that I have a hidden mickey on my back (although she says its on my behind). I tried to explain to her that it's a tattoo not a hidden mickey.

I don't have any kids yet but I'm a preschool teacher. I have three Disney's greatest hits cd's for my kids to listen to. My "kids" may not be mine but I'm still trying to spread the Disney fever.

That is too funny, my 4 year old daughter does the same thing!! We just cashed in $32 in change for disney dollars. (teaching the value of money the disney way) Her Daddy is a HUGE pirate fan so of course she sings pirates if not zip-a dee-do-dah.

I have no kids, and I sing Disney songs all the time!!

I have all five volumes of those CDs (I think they are called Classic Disney, or maybe Disney Classics?) and I keep them in my car. I love that they include all kinds of Disney music--from the parks, from the animated movies, from the live action movies, new movies, old movies...yada, yada, yada.

Just the other night, I was driving home solo, and I noticed that it was 9pm. It had been a hot day, but the night had cooled off a little and there was a bit of a breeze...I opened all the windows, punched up my Illuminations CD, turned the volume way up, and imagined the fireworks while I drove down the highway in the dark.
