Do you think I could pass for a face character?

not really actually, they bend people's heights in order to put you where they need you. They gave me an extra inch. If they were truly desperate for wendy and alice and you looked the part I wouldn't be suprised if they approved you. that's kinda extreme, but you don't need to worry about it anyways, your height is fine for most of the princesses-just not those two

I am a natural redhead so that might be a fun choice for me, I love Ariel. Snow White is my other favorite though, and having my porcelain complection and short hair I figured that's who I would be closest to. I don't know how anything will work out though, because as y'all have said, I might not be the appropriate height for any of them.

Yes she does. She has legs at Norway.

While the grotto is closed she is at Toon Town in her dress too.

Snow white is always very short too. (I am pretty short and rather snow white like so I always notice.) I am past it though being a 35 year old mom now. By the time I could go to WDW and character I will be retired and the only one I can be would be fairy godmother.

I know that they wear wigs. I was just stating that my hair is red and that I'm rather pale. I hope the people at the audition aren't so crabby... while I do really appreciate the help and whatnot, your comments make me feel very discouraged Mecha Figment.

I'm also in Entertainment, and you definitely have a good face structure. I'm not going to throw out Princess names of whom you could possibly play, because ultimately it's not up to the people on this board. It's up to the Entertainment Casting people. Also, you know that if you do get pulled for face from an audition, that you also have to do fur as well. You're not JUST face. But, don't be upset if you get turned down, there are so many beautiful girls who get turned down, but not because they're not beautiful, just because they don't have the right look.

I don't think they would ever approve a 5'6 Wendy or Alice.

Official height for the princesses is 5'3 to 5'8 so you're fine, right in the middle really.

I hate to be the only one to say this but I don't think you look like the girls who are approved in face roles. Not to say you aren't pretty or attractive, but the truth of the matter is you have to more closely resemble the other girls playing the characters than the actual character so much.

They definitely wouldn't approve a 5'6 Wendy or Alice. I would also have to agree, she does have a great face structure, but it doesn't seem right for any of the princesses. But, hey you never know!

MinnieKat24,

Go for it! If they say no, don't beat yourself up over it, like folks have said it's not about you it's about whatever "it" is they're looking for. If they say yes... Then roll with it and have fun! But even if they don't, I know I've heard lots of CMs on here that had fun doing whatever they got to do at WDW, so will you!

See you around the parks, whatever you do! [If you see a tall, older guy with WDWMagic stuff [shirt and/or button] with a skinny, but cute, 11-year-old son, say hi - or if you're in 'fur' give some kinda weird wave so I'll know it's you ]

one would hope that they wouldn't...but I wouldn't be suprised... i heard there's someone who does all the faces except for mulan and poppins- i'm truly hoping that this is just another wildly exaggerated entertainment rumor, but if not then we've got a tall wendy and alice running around, not to mention a pale poca...

You guys are all very supportive and I really appreciate it, I guess it's all just up to the auditions now and what they think of me

I hope this post doesnt seem negative, but...

Never believe anything you hear that begins with "I heard... " - Especially if it's while on a CP or about the Entertainment department. Sooo many people talk about things they have no idea about. I'd bet - and give great odds - that there is not a girl who does all those characters.

They won't cast a 5'6" Wendy or Alice.

I can't think of any characters off the top of my head who this girl would be cast as, but maybe after I think about it a while something will come to me. I've seen very attractive girls get denied and just average looking girls get cast. I don't think she can be Snow White because I think she is cuter than all the Snow Whites I've met (who were very average). I dated two girls before they were cast to be princesses and to be honest, they didn't look much like the characters at all. So you never know. Go to the audition and let us know if you get cast. We'll come visit you if you get the job.

That is true, it never really hurts to audition. I went to the casting for Tinkerbell even though I'm fully aware that besides height and build I don't look that much like Tinkerbell at all, but I figured with all the homely Cinderella's and white Jasmine's I had just as good of a chance as anybody. And that was true because they actually fitted me for the costume and everything, I didn't get it but it does mean I was at least strongly considered despite not looking like the character.
