Do all celebrities get a cast member escort?

My sports stories are read by loyal 10's of readers each week. And if my mother saw me walking in a Disney park, she'd surely cause a dangerous scene (mainly for not telling her I was coming). :lookaroun

The point is...I'm kind of a big deal. I think I need a (tall, blonde) guide...and some of those nifty anytime/anywhere FastPasses. Who do I see about securing this deserved treatment?

The thing that I laugh at and is always overlooked with that video is the fact the what he is swinging around is a golf ball retriever in the event your ball goes in a lake, creek or equivalent.

Just classic. Wonder what he is doing now.
Things did not go well for Ghyslain AKA "The Jedi Kid". He did not handle his infamy all that well. Last I heard he filed legal action against the people that originally posted the video and for want of a better term went pretty nuts with all the attention he received.

Since Im in the mood, would you leave a waiter a $40 tip if he performed his/her waiter duties really well. Maybe... probably, not sure if you purchase $200 meals at 20%.

My "10x Rule" applies again (actually it would be 100X here) and proves you wrong; again. Johhny Depp, since i referenced him earlier, left a waiter a $4000 tip.

Your A-list celebs do spend that kind of cash. They do because they can. You boost your 10K price tag, they spend 100K easily. Just accept it.

Who is boasting I think you need to take some time and read what I wrote before you say I am boasting.

Dang. If he would have just swallowed his pride and taken advantage of his 5 minutes of fame, The Jedi Kid would probably have a little more to show for this then he does today.

Unfortunately I did.

I dont see anyone else claiming how much money they spent on their last Disney excursion. My point, that was why I said boasting. You were trying to prove a point that you are a big spender and you dont get any special treatment.

How about I rephrase that: You touted your 10K spending to try and prove a point.

Either way, you dont have A-list celeb money so you dont get that kind of treatment.

Any family can have a VIP Tour Guide.

Celebrities visiting WDW while they are working for Disney (i.e. a movie, TV show, special event, or the like) will more than likely have a Guide provided at no cost/reduced cost to them for the duration of their visit as part of their compensation package. That way, they can experience some of the attractions while they are not working.

Celebrities visiting WDW while on vacation (i.e. with their family or friends...not working for the Company) must pay for their own Guide.

Regardless of who is hiring a Guide, families can take one of two tour options...a "standard" tour ($195/hour, minimum of 6 hours, up to 10 people in the group, one park only) or a "premium" tour ($295/hour, minimum 6 hours, park hopping permitted, up to 10 people in the group, includes a vehicle with backstage parking). These prices are just for the tour...you still have to buy theme park tickets.

For more information about VIP Tours, you can call "Disney VIP Tour Services" at 407-560-4033.

That he would have. There was actually am attempt to get him a part as a Jedi extra in Episode 2.

It takes a lot to laugh at yourself, but if he would have done a few talk show etc, he could at least paid for a little bit of college, down payment of a car or house.

Ahhh. Oh well Jedi Kid.

Actually what is amusing to me is you seem to think dropping 10K on a vacation is a big deal.

What amuses me is that Figment seems to want to argue with people on almost every subject.

You spent 10k on your last trip? Can I have your autograph?

Because if you were some A-list celebrity, you wouldnt be hanging around a Disney forum arguing about dropping some 10K coin with a handle of Figment632.

Also, from the way you speak and some of your opinions, it seems as though you aren't that old in fact. Maybe in the teen region. It just seems as though you lack any kind of business knowledge that one might gain from say, working in a business. Also, you argue like you are on the defensive side... like a person trying to be something they are not. Just a hunch and possibly a door to get you off the money thing and on to something else that you will argue till you are blue in the face.

Actually what is amusing to me is you seem to think dropping 10K on a vacation is a big deal.
THAT is my point Laura. Who cant spend 5K-10K in a week at Disney. it is impossible. :D

It is a lot of money. After lodging, park tickets (holy cow) flights and meals, it adds up. Oh, and boarding 2 large dogs for the entire trip.

I never said I was a celebrity but how do you know I don't have that kind of money, the answer is you don't. This coversation is pointless.

True, and the only trips my family and I have made since I've been old enough to realize the financial side, I've been working for the mouse, and we get great discounts, making it seem like less money than it really is.
