Disney's Hollywood Studios Name Change

Haha exactly, I mean whats the point of changing the name if there really is nothing much to do at the park.

That is exactly why you do change the name, AFTER the renovation work. Change the park, improve it, then unveil new name to go with the new style park.

The huge mixture of themes inside the current park, and those rumored, really make it difficult to come up with anything exciting don't you think?

Pixar Studios - Star Wars kills that
<Name> Land - Too many themes
Disney Studios - Bland but possible

Haha exactly, I mean whats the point of changing the name if there really is nothing much to do at the park. Even if you added 6 more rides, it still would be only a half day park for how limited the space is.
The park is being redeveloped and relaunched. Hence the name change away from anything suggesting a studio.

There is plenty of space. There will be even more.

Bah! Pitiful plebeian! An edifice that grand is befitting only one name, the name of the greatest mind this world or any other has ever witnessed!

All bow down before the glory and majesty of CASTLE DOOM!
Indeed! I stand corrected!

If it's hollywood adventure, should we expect them to remove ALL production themed shows & attractions? Like I think we all know LMA is on life support, and I guess Indy will either get the boot or drop the production theme. And HISTK, Hasta La Vista. How about Streets Of America? Could it be repurposed into like a "backlot" themed land to be the studio part of hollywood? Or maybe SOA get demoed and the production backlot area of hollywood could be where Animation is?

The original plan, as I understand it, was to transition to Hollywood Studios for several years, and then drop the 'Studios' and either go to just Disney's Hollywood or Disney's Hollywoodland. That was before the days of Marvel and Star Wars, though.

The two big properties that they've said they're going to leverage in building out the park are Star Wars and Pixar. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see elements of Cars Land come in.

I say they call it Disney's Iowa - if we FINALLY build it better, they may come....we hope!

In all seriousness though, I would be shocked if it wasn't Disney's Hollywood Adventures

I will also add, I am greatly enthused now, as I see this as more confirmation of a future SWL and expansion for Pixar or more at formerly DHS!

I really like Disney's Hollywood Adventures
If they go that route, I think it would be the singular "Disney's Hollywood Adventure."

It lends itself better to casual conversation.

I'm going to Magic Kingdom.
I'm going to Epcot.
I'm going to Animal Kingdom.
I'm going to California Adventure.

"I'm going to Hollywood Adventures" sounds clumsy to me.

As mentioned before, IMO there's too many Adventure named parks in Florida

Islands of Adventure
Adventure Island
Sea World Adventure Park
What on earth are Sea World Adventure Park or Adventure Island?

I think the only one of those that would be of any concern is "Islands of Adventure," but overlapping with IOA isn't much different that overlapping with Universal Studios.

Sea World Adventure Park is the new name Sea World adopted several years ago, since they were adding thrill rides, etc. I guess.
Their website now seems to be branding them as "Sea World Celebration." I have no idea.

Adventure Island is the water park next to Busch Gardens.
I don't think many people outside of Florida look at "Florida" overall when they think about Disney. Their perspective is more confined to the Orlando market.
