Disney's Hollywood Studios Name Change

Disney cannot use Marvel east of the Mississippi, which eliminates WDW. They cannot use any characters currently represented in IOA, nor can they use any character which is within the "family" of those characters.

Look, all Disney needs to do is put some money into digging a "canal" to divert the Mississippi to run through Wedgefield, FL.

Then BAM! WDW is west of the Mississippi. No more problem.

Marvel can replace all the WDW attractions with no legal worries. I would start by renaming Cinderalla Castle as Stark Castle. We'd have the Hulk's Be Our Guest Restaurant and Professor Xavier's X-Men Mansion. All WDW's problems would be solved, and all they have to do, if my historical research is correct, is hire 45,000 Panamanians and just hope that malaria isn't as big of a problem in the eastern USA.

I think they should go with Magical Kingdom. It will confuse a lot of people and help disperse crowds from the real Magic Kingdom.

I like it. Plus, when you get on the "Magic Kingdom" bus at your resort, you've got a 50/50 chance of making it to the one you really want. You can place some side-bets with other guests.

Disney's Hollywood Adventure...kind of scary that back when I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon I had a park named this....

Disney Studios will become Disney's Avatron South...or Disney's Holoverse!



"Avatron USA Development has filed plans for Avatron Smart Park, a 700-plus acre development along Paga Mine Road in the Emerson and Cartersville area, just west of the sprawling LakePoint Sporting Community complex and town center along I-75.

In a filing Tuesday to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the company described a “totally immersive, technology-driven theme park drawing on the expertise of Hollywood’s leading visual effects professionals.” The project also would include two hotels, retail and a music venue.

The details are included in a Development of Regional Impact notice, a filing aimed at alerting the Atlanta Regional Commission and neighboring governments of large projects so that they can prepare for potential effects such as traffic and demand for schools and other services.

A website for the company outlines attractions within the park, including zones labeled as New Earth, Holoverse and Dino-Time."

I feel like this is what Future World in EPCOT should be like.

I say go with Disney's Studio Adventures and re-theme the whole park into well divided "studios" of all the subsidiary companies Disney now owns. So as lands you'd have Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Studios, Marvel Studios (Backlot area), Lucasfilm Studios (for SW land and any existing or future Indy attraction), and Hollywood Studios (for the Sunset Blvd attractions). Spruce up the Hollywood Boulevard entrance area a bit with an updated GMR. Of course that plan would require a lot of new additions and theming and re-theming, excluding the Sunset Boulevard area. So it will never happen with the likely gimped budget the overhaul will get.

I can't see the park being called Disney's Florida Adventure, I feel like that would make it a park about Florida's history and no. I'd really prefer Disney's Hollywood Adventure over the former. That being said, I'm looking forward to what they come up with.

Which makes people think of all the amazing adventures in Florida? Sounds a lot less romantic than DCA, I hope this isn't it. To me Disney basically makes Florida.
