I was thinking Disney Florida AdventureThis seems the most likely of anything.
I'm guessing there will be mention of the word "studio" anywhere to be found.

OK, spill. The park is being redeveloped and relaunched. Hence the name change away from anything suggesting a studio.
There is plenty of space. There will be even more.
You know, someone else said it I think.....
But with
Magic Kindom and Animal Kingdom.....
Why not Movie Kingdom or Cinema Kingdom??
Just a side note Sea World Parks dropped The Adventure Parks name/line altogether and it is removed from any and all marketing as of two years ago.Sea World Adventure Park is the new name Sea World adopted several years ago, since they were adding thrill rides, etc. I guess.
Adventure Island is the water park next to Busch Gardens.
I'm ok with Disney's Hollywoodland too. I like the nod to the old sign as well.Disney's Hollywood
Disney's Hollywoodland (a nod to the original Hollywood sign)
Disney's Hollywood Adventure (a'la DCA)
No, they're not trying to trick people into thinking it's a 5th gate. Are they hoping a new name is supposed to draw tourists who would be ignorant to the park's history? Like "oh hey they have a new Walt Disney World park... Disney's Cinema Kingdom"
I would think most visitors would know it is an existing park and not a new "5th gate". So why even make the name change?

Seriously?

But your point still very much stands.
Because it's not a studio anymore, and they're removing everything about it being a studio. When it opened, a big part of the draw was seeing actual working soundstages, animators working, etc. All of that's gone now. So they're looking to re-theme the park to get away from the studio atmosphere.I guess i worded it wrong. Tried to correct the post. I guess I just don't understand the reasoning for changing the park's name
Hmm, I never thought about it like this before, but what if they did a Hollywood theme (as everyone is saying) and there was a Studio Land in it or something like that? Which would justify keeping the tower and such. I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud. Haha.Because it's not a studio anymore, and they're removing everything about it being a studio. When it opened, a big part of the draw was seeing actual working soundstages, animators working, etc. All of that's gone now. So they're looking to re-theme the park to get away from the studio atmosphere.
Universal Studios doesn't seem to have the problem of people expecting to see production facilities and the newer parks have also ditched the studio aesthetic.Because it's not a studio anymore, and they're removing everything about it being a studio. When it opened, a big part of the draw was seeing actual working soundstages, animators working, etc. All of that's gone now.
