The ride vehicle was a bit jerkier at times than I expected. The lifts are Guardians-esque and more intense than I expected. I don't recall any other movement than sliding around aside from the drop parts.

The preshow ship ride feels like standing on a bus.

The interiors of the star destroyer bay and AT-AT room were extremely large and impressive. We got the lift that went to the side and had a weird disembodied hand shooting a gun.

The laser effects were just projection mapped impacts with some light flashes.

I didn't like the ending where it becomes a simulator and to be honest I don't recall if that part rocked around. The screen was Simpsons-esque there in that it was a bit nauseating to look at for me.

This ride has a LOT of buildup and pre-shows that didn't really work for me. In theory, this seemed like an awesome idea, but we just wanted to get out of these awkward holding areas and get on the ride,
My main qualm with this ride is the amount of pre-shows... There are several, which is absurd, in my opinion. Every time @George Lucas on a Bench and I thought we were finally going to board, we were hit with another pre-show. And they’re not short!

Uggg. My worst nightmare. I hate being crammed in a room for a pre-show. Not sure if I'm gonna be able to tolerate more than one.

Is the drop at the end actually thrilling? Is that the only physical thrill to the ride?

I'm... sensitive... to drops. Only recently have I braved the 'family coasters.'

The drop in RotR is no worse than the one in PotC. Knowing what was coming I was expecting the worse and then when it happened, I was like "oh, that's it?"

"...more...family friendly..."

Also, I don't get how several people have said the ride in the vehicle is rough. Wasn't my take at all. Rough is Indy/DINO.

Yeah, the spaceship bit, which was just kinda boring, feels like you're standing up while riding a bus, something absolutely no one enjoys. It also must technically spin you around because you enter and exit the same door and it's a different place, like when Willy Wonka takes them in that room with one door.

I disagree that the drop is anything like POTC. That's just a tame slide. The ROTR drop gives you those drop ride feelings in your stomach.
