I’m back for the beginning of Halloween - Indy is in “disco boulder” mode. The safety video is a little longer so that’s good.

The Shaman on rivers of America is back and looking great.

Jungle cruise - one of the main African elephants has a camo tarp over his trunk and he’s motionless - skipper said “oh look he’s hiding!” - def. Bad show.

Snow white seemed to have a few more finale effects working, or I didn’t notice them?

Casey Jr. was running 2 trains. That was nice to see.

Rise is looking good. Everything working except for cannons of course.

First time seeing Halloween fireworks here - loved them! Such an impressive show.

Fantasmic still has only center fountains. Pirate ship was back in full stunt mode.

Pirates is in pretty good shape. 1 turntable frozen, 1 turntable missing figures completely.

Alice has several minor issues. Door handle mouth stuck open, Cheshire cats eyes don’t move, playing cards don’t march, Queen didn’t move.

- not maintenance but food & beverage seems very understaffed. Is this still a lack of employees or is this deliberate budget cuts? Everywhere else seems fully staffed so I’m wondering if it’s a budget thing?

#IndyWatch2022 update: it's about as good as it gets these days, which is sad. The fog screen that was working on my last trip not even a week ago is now barely there again it seems. Some of these effects that don't work anymore are simply confusing: for example, the Gates of Doom had this sheet of fabric that used to billow so that the lights could dance around and give it the portal effect. Why does that not work anymore?

Rise is great as ever (sans cannons).

Big Thunder explosions are on B-mode.

Snow White was dirty. I saw at least 3 soda cups/bottles along the track sides, which was the first time I'd ever seen that in a dark ride.

Did you let the CMs know that you saw trash in the ride?

Radiator Springs - all the exit signs were on. Very distracting.

Web slingers - everything looked like it was working.

Dancing cars - broke down while I was waiting. They were trying to reset the cars. I think they were getting there but I left to see world of color.

Guardians was down several hours.

Mr. potato head is behind his curtain.

World of Color - no lasers tonight.

Space Mountain - great ride. No issues that I noticed.

Did you let the CMs know that you saw trash in the ride?

Yes, I was shocked enough to mention it to the CMs by the exit who help with DAS.

Excellent. Sometimes CMs don’t know about any potential trash unless guests tell them.

Space Mountain has had an issue for the last 17 years. The asteroid in the middle doesn't light up. It is suppose to look like this

That is like how I saw a bunch of kids purposely deface the walls on Calico River Rapids on the second day it was open.

Better idea would have been to take a picture of the kids and turn it into Knott's. They were wearing school uniforms. The school would have been furious.

That’s great to hear! While maintenance is slower than it should be, it’s clear that things are still getting attention at Disneyland and that’s really great news.

Do CMs get to do ride throughs,, throughout the day? Or is that a big no? And is there a camera covering every inch of all these rides?
