I vote for a Shining themed attraction instead. Or, if you really want some teenage vampire angst, how about Carrie meets Salem's Lot as part of the new Backlot Tour...

Twilight is just an okay series. I'd love to see Percy Jackson picked up...

Exactly.

Plus, Robert Pattinson is a decent actor. So is Kristen Stewart, just not in this role.

Robert Pattinson is definitely a decent actor despite his atrocious acting in Twilight. Kristen Stewart on the other hand is probably one of the worst actresses to grace the big screen in a while. IMO at least. I think she's abysmal.

I love the Twilight saga, but I wouldn't want to see a theme park based off it. That's just me... I'd rather read the books over and over again, 'cause the things I imagine in my mind are way better than what they've showed us in the movies, anyway. ;)

Have you ever seen Adventureland, The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys or The Cake Eaters? She's a good actress.

Considering that the Twilight movies consistently win the Razzy's for worst movie, worst acting, worst effects, etc. I don't think the execs would be dumb enough to even consider it.

I love when people make stuff like this up just to try and prove their point.

None of the Twilight movies, actors, actresses or special effects have ever won a Razzie, with the exception I believe of Jackson Rathbone winning worst supporting actor once for the last Twilight movie. However, what the Twilight movies consistently win are awards for favorite movie, actor and actress from People's Choice Awards, Science Fiction Awards and Kids Awards Shows, which would make perfect sense for Disney to take advantage of that market.

As for your lie filled post - Epic Fail.

yeah, I agree that you have to sometimes value things that fall outside of the box. There is some value to the films, as we have agreed upon. It's a great selection of indie tunes, shot in a pretty dark manner... I enjoyed them.

Harold and Kumar series is better than Twilight..... but then I am not a 12 year old girl.

The thing about Twilight is after the last lame movie is shown nobody will remember the books and films. ( Think the same is True about Harry Potter in 5 years the kids that actually cared about the movies ( books ) with nothing new will abandon the series ). I can see parents in 10 year trying to explain to children who Harry Potter was.

To compare Twilight books to classic stories like Little Mermaid is joke.

BTW, I'm not trying to infer that a Twilight themed land would be a good idea at Disney (or any other park). But the extent to which some people bash these movies is absurd. Maybe they're not your cup of tea, but to call them "the worst crap ever made" makes you sound like a high school student picking on someone for wearing a Twilight t-shirt.

I'm not 12 years old or a girl, and I like the Twilight movies. Kind of throws your theory out the window.

No one is comparing the writing of Twilight to the writing of the original Little Mermaid, but to say the idea of a story based around a girl falling in love with someone is a bad idea for a Disney theme park is idiotic.

That is the worst idea i think i've ever heard. Besides the fact that Twilights popularity is in the process of dying, it would be a terrible thing for Disney to associate with. Whether Twilight fans want to accept it or not the "story" (and i use that term very loosely) teaches kids terrible things. Jumping from guy to guy is ok, just be like Bella and let your boyfriend be a controling jack hole, and don't forget Bella's general behavior pattern. I heard that when Harry Potter was going to be made into a movie that Disney passed thinking it might become too controversial (they were wrong there). If that's true then i doubt Disney would ever touch Twilight with a 100 foot pole.

So you're basing your opinion on something you haven't seen 75% of?

As I said, Twilight hate is old.

Sorry, but I don't have to eat an entire serving of something before I decide
I don't like it. If you like it fine. But I don't, because I think it is horribly written.
