Disney to make daily announcements about new park offerings - 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas

I must be the only person who actually really enjoyed the Spectromen. Probably the last time Disney ever made original park characters not counting the ones created for attractions or the fairies from Disneyland's Light Magic from 1997.

I really liked that parade, even if the Spectromen were nightmare fuel to me. I think you could say the elements from the Tapestry parade(s) were original as well, and came just a bit later than Spectro's.

That stuck out for me, too. Everything else actually looks pretty good, but when I read that, I thought they were trying too hard to make it out like we are LUCKY ENOUGH to be able to see an unthemed turn station.

well with there prices lately we are just so lucky.

The Moana experience sounds a lot like Enchanted Tales With Belle, just now at an extra price; at least it'll get the kiddies excited. I think they missed an opportunity to do something along the lines of an intimate, small scale, theatre experience. I think that would have been a better premium offering

The characters at Tapestry Of Nations looked so good. Basically a more friendlier and interactive version of the Fairies from Light Magic since I heard the Light Magic characters freaked out a few guests.

I’m a real sucker for parks specific characters. (Here’s looking at you Figment, and HM charachters) I saw Spectro at least a couple times but didn’t realize how good it was until it was long gone. I tend to bawl uncontrollably if I hear the soundtrack though.

Agreed. All the waterworks. SpectroMagic was one of the best things to come out of WDW in the past 20 years.

I really hope WDW never plans on cloning PTN. Since while visually good, it doesn't have very original and creative looking floats like Spector did. Even the four whirly balls Goofy,Donald and Minnie are on aren't as fun looking.
