The only thing I saw from the leaked news: World of Disney is expanding.
Didn't think that was possible
It's already pretty big! But I'm not complaining to an expansion!

Ha! No kidding. It's already the largest retail location on property. Heck, when it was built, it had more square feet than many superstores.
What else could they possibly house there? I mean, I'm completely okay with this, but I'm at a loss...

@Lee, @WDW1974, and @wdwmagic, thoughts I just had today regarding I-4 access and a second garage, also addressing the tendency to want to park as close to Marketplace as possible.
I remember having several back-and-forths/conversations on here with @raven about the I-4 exit solution to DTD, and I think @Lee chimed in on those as well. If I recall correctly, the consensus seemed to be that I-4 access would be into DTD only, and would be via the current 536/Epcot ramp with a third branch running to the BVD intersection at entrance #2, running between TDO and Typhoon. At that time we were discussing access from I-4 into a DTD without garages, or at least one on that side. With two garages, this second one can be fed directly from I-4 via the new branch off the existing exit using a flyover (with an intersection option ramp, I would think). Depending on the location of the second garage, they could possibly "link" the two if they design the traffic flow correctly to encourage parking in the other by making it feel more like one large garage. Regardless of that, though, the direct access from I-4 not only helps reduce congestion on 535 and BVD, but would also provide a potential boost to the West Side tenants with direct "natural" traffic, instead of "forced" traffic that parks down there now, also making those units more lucrative.
Is what I've laid out above similar to what is in the plans, or am I completely off the mark on how they plan to handle it?
Sigh, I think 74 was more concerned about the fact that so much fan attention was being directed at what really amounts to a public Restroom with a nice facade. The fact that a restroom can get the type of attention that a new attraction would is dis-concerting to many of us.74 even called for people to hate it even before finalized plans are released..

UGH...36 pages! Do i need to read all to get caught up or can someone give me a recap? Is this rude to ask?
A new bus drop off along with the three currently there? Or one bus drop off serving the whole area? I know that sounds silly but, well, stranger things have been done before...A new bus drop off will be located between the 2 new parking structures. So no, they won't be connected.
I think it is just supposed to be the one, central bus stop. Part of what keeps people from going out to the West Side is their unwillingness to walk so far from their point of origin (car or bus stop).A new bus drop off along with the three currently there? It's like a Super Walmart ... just with Disney crap. It can always get bigger.
BTW, I love how Cars Land merchandise has hit the Florida outlet stores. Glad I didn't pay $16 for magnets that I bought a few days ago for $2.
I get what you are saying and share your concern. But Iger has done a lot to create the environment where the parks can be plussed. He has absorbed the cost of rehabilitating much of the MK. Not just infrastructure but many of the iconic attractions. He has made it much easier for future managers to plus the parks with attractions because he has done the not so fun stuff. Including adding restrooms.
How has he done this?
By letting all the attractions fall apart? Just wondering as I've missed 'JT logic' for these not-nearly-enough months.
Half of your list had to happen. A new president was elected and the Enchanted Tiki Room caught on fire. And Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is nothing to brag about.HM, HoP, BTMRR, and Tiki reconstructions.
I know you claim expert status but you missed a few things. HM, HoP, BTMRR, and Tiki reconstructions. Required because maintenance was not being done properly by previous management.
The complete restoration of MSUSA, the FLE added with facilities capable of handling any growth for the next couple decades.
Clearing of CMM for a new land at DAK. Whatever it ends up being.
New DVC and hotel space.
You know, all the stuff that has to be done to lay the groundwork for more attractions in the parks and the crowds they will bring.
I can see where you're coming from, not nearly enough has been done for the parks. We've all been talking about Avatar for what, a year now? And barely anything has been done to advance the project. Heck, they are even taking far too long to construct SDMT...I know you claim expert status but you missed a few things. HM, HoP, BTMRR, and Tiki reconstructions.
