What I loved about the Adventurer's Club is that it was always a surprise for people. Amongst a sea of nightclubs and loud music...there was a bar with interesting things inside...and then a show started...and the Colonel...and the Kungaloosh...and the multiple rooms. It was always a great time and a very VERY unique experience.

Looking around at the people that weren't "in the know" was priceless.

But don't you know that nobody ever went in there and it cost one billion dollars a night to operate. It was a den of sin and Walt would never have approved.

That's what I don't understand...I never saw it empty.
Although, maybe it really wasn't financially a success because people hung around for the show even after they stopped drinking for the night.

Some kind of lake work...perhaps opening up a canal from that little lake into Village Lake?

Just checked the plans filed with the South Florida Water Management District and the work area does extend all the way around to that lake. Probably going to be part of the storm water control work.

Levy's does own that truck that is why it is now placed outside of their other two restaurants (Fulton's/Portobello).

Ok, so this isn't one of the trucks that Disney itself supposedly bought to set up? I'd like to try it out - now that I'm working in downtown Jacksonville, I get to eat at some pretty tasty food trucks. Would be interesting to compare.

I'll have to browse and see if I can find a map of the walkways. Never been to Saratoga Springs but am going in November. I can just about picture where the walkway is they are closing, but not the other. Am sure there has to be a map of it somewhere online.
