These are such great ideas!!!
On our last trip we went around the world showcase and tried on all the funny hats we could find, and took pictures of ourselves in them. It was a different way to remember our trip. I'll have to post pictures when I get back to VA!

This is making me so excited...Only 6 more days!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

That's why it's taking me so long to get my pictures on here--we did that last year, and I did an entire scrapbook of it--one page for each country. One of my favorite books to date!

I forgot to mention--to those of you who are looking for pre-made Disney scrapbook pages (or any premade pages) check out www.etsy.com.
It is an online community with the tag "your place to buy and sell all things handmade". Everything on the website is handmade, and a lot of things are reasonibly priced. In the search box you can put disney scrapbook, disney 12x12, scrapbook pages, etc. There might not be the varity of ebay, but you are supporting the crafting world, which I wholy believe in. And now for a plug for myself...lol, go check out www.DanaElyse.etsy.com I don't have much up right now, but I plan to in the future. And if any of you would like some custom pages, let me know and we can work something out!

(oh and don't forget to type in just "disney" and see what comes up...there are some cute outfits for your kids for upcoming trips, hairclips, home dec, etc.)

I think I've posted mine before. I have a TON but here's a few.

Here's my funny ebay story. About 6 years ago I started making character letter paper piecings. You know when the word DISNEY used to be made out of characters? They were very easy to mass produce once I made the template and I thought I'd try selling them on ebay. At the time if you searched Disney scrapbooking you'd come up with only 1 or 2 pages. The first pair was going great it was up to $15 with three days to go. They cost me about .30 to make. BUT THEN I got a letter from Disney lawyers saying I had infringed their copyright and they had ended my sale. They said if I ever listed anything Disney again they would take legal action!! Every Disney paper piecing disappeared that day.

I was completely mortified and never did. Now several years later I noticed tons of homemade Disney stuff which irked me. I emailed the Disney lawyers to see if their policy had changed. They informed me, no it has not and I would be liable if I tried to sell anything!

So apparently I'm marked! And I'm terrified to try to sell anything! I don't want Disney mad at me! I just couldn't go on!:( :(

So here's my latest, an autograph album. Pages made only for my own personal use of course! Although now that I think about it I think I have made a couple of Disney pages in albums I've sold!!:zipit:

For those of you who create your own pages - where do you buy your supplies? I used to live near a scrapbooking store - now the only places that are rather close to me are regular craft stores.

Also, any cost-cutting hints? I could probably spend a fortune on scrapbook stuff and never use all of it. What are some essentials that you always use?

For me cute paper is the essential. If you have a lot of tools, cutters etc. You can make anything with the right paper. Stickers are great for special pages, but paper is cheaper and really makes the page look nice. I use some creative memories stuff, but I also buy paper and stickers at Archivers or any scrapbook store. I have also tried mouse memories for rare disney stickers.

I LOVED Archivers. Unfortunately the only places I have within 30 minutes are Michael's and Hobby Lobby...
