Thanks! I love them!
And don't worry---everyone scraplifts at one point in time, in fact, I'm about to scraplift your idea for "tying down" the DTD map...that's really cute!

Those pages are wonderful disneyfalcon. Thanks for showing disneyland. You are helping me get ready for my disneyland trip in dec. :) I love your use of color. It just proves my theory that good paper is everything in scrapbooking. runs out and buys some paper.

Wow! I just stumbled upon this thread and to say I am impressed would be an understatement. Actually, I've been inspired by everyone's work.

Currently I've only done digital scrapbooks, but I may just try my hand with scissors yet :)

I did actually end up in a wheelchair this trip, but it had nothing to do with the Yeti :)

Popkid, these are amazing...if there is a even somewhat simple explanation for how you make these (i.e. what program), I would like to be privy to that information!

We have fallen in love with Disneyland in the last year and a half mouselvrmom. You'll have a great time!

Popkid those pages are great! I am taking a digital scrapbooking class next month, I can't wait!

thanks WDWFigment!

I used photoshop to create those and it took a quite bit of futsing around as I am far from a photoshop-pro. I created a 'style' for my digital photos that added a drop shadow and white border and then just scanned various items from the trip (park maps, passes and the like). If you don't have photoshop there are some free image editing programs you can use.

I did just recently find this site http://www.scrapblog.com/. It's an on-line 'scrap-blogging' tool. I'm not entirely sure what that means, and I haven't played around with it too much just yet, but it does look very impressive from what I've seen. Not to mention it's free!

Even with as much effort as I put into these I feel they fail in comparison to the scrapbooks posted in this thread. Like I said I really need to dust off the scissors and give 'real world' scrapbooking a try - it's just very intimidating for a noobie :)

Digital scrapbooking is exactly what I want to do the next time I do a scrapbook. It's just so much easier!

I was wondering how you got the park maps in there...guess you answered that question! Now you've given me something else to ponder.

If anyone wants some pre scanned Disney images check out my Flickr photoset here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/popkid/sets/72157594242262610/

Feel free to download any of these images and use them in your scrapbooks.

You can always take a digital photo of the park map in lue of scanning them in. There are also maps on disney.com that you could copy and paste into your scrapbook. Grab your virtual-scissors and hit the net :)

Those are great digital pages, popkid! I was going to recommend the disney photobook from the photopass page that they have. I know that half of the fun is making your scrapbook yourself, but I ordered one from our last trip and I am very impressed by it. It turned out really cute and is a neat book to have out on a coffee table.

These are all so amazing. I want to go work on my book from my trip this past February, but I'm busy with Mother's Day stuff. So it'll have to wait.

I just got back from a week-long WDW trip! We had a great time and I'm SO excited to start on our scrapbook. I bought a very nice scrapbook at our resort (the parks and DTD were sold out of the wooden one we liked) and a bi=unch of materials! I can't wait to start!

What's the best place to get our digital photos developed? I've never done any other the online places - I've been worried about the photos being bent or something through the mail. Would you suggest a plave like WalMart or Walgeens over an online store? Can I upload my pictures via the Internet for all of them? (I don't have a CD burner or anything to put my pics on)

Scrapbooking & Photo Development

We bought a Disney scrapbook at WDW during our trip last year.
I bought one at a local store for this year's trip & found Disney insert pages, decorations & stickers at Wal-Mart (cheaper).
If your Wal-Mart has a craft section, check it out...I have also seen nice Disney scrapbooks in all sizes for good prices.

We do our photo development on-line through Wal-Mart (just picked up some today)!
On our last Disney trip, we would upload all of our photos for the day through our laptop to the Wal-Mart nearest our home.
When we got back home, all of our photos were ready!:ROFLOL:

Good luck!

I always used to print my own digital pictures out, but on our last trip I took over 500 pictures so I thought with paper and ink it would be just too expensive. So I went to Target and uploaded all of them for them to print. It was so much cheaper! Then, I discovered that I can just upload my pictures to Target and they will print them and I can pick them up whenever. So that is what I do now and it works really slick. I usually wait until I have about 100 pictures to upload and then I just pick them up the next day. I think the quality of the pictures is even a little bit better than my own printer, they're just a bit brighter.
