I mean we're talking about the simple definition of 'contribute' which is to "help to cause or bring about."

If you think the environment people are put in and what they cope with is never a contributing factor to outcomes or people's reactions -- then you have your head in the sand and are hopeless.
Careful there…he may get frustrated and aggressive like those in the theme parks who are frustrated in their environment :)

Watching a live stream from Magic Kingdom and someone was being escorted out of the park and was not happy about and asked security not to follow her which just led to more security escorting her out.

I know I'm in the minority when I say this, but I disagree. Planning for a trip to Disney may cause "stress", but it's not the stress of dealing actual life problems. Illness (family, lived ones, pets, friends, yourself, anyone) is stress. Jobs are stress. Money issues are stress. Those are all issues that can give people short fuses at times in their lives.

Going to Disney is not stressful in the same way. It's just not. Annoying at times? Sure.
I'm not giving people who are rude, act like morons, the easy excuse of "oh, but Disney is so stressful now". Give me a break. If you can't handle the issues Disney throws at you without being an a-hole to other people, then you've got problems you should deal with and leave everyone else out of it and just stay home.
Amen.

This is voluntary. No one has to go to Disney.

I wasn’t “asked to leave”. Wasn’t politely “escorted to the door”…………….

The moment what Disney does makes the experience more stressful, frustrating, or expensive than the benefit (for us) we will stop going.
I agree. People have different triggers and tolerance levels when it comes to stress. Our most relaxing WDW vacations were in 2018 and 2019. The ones in 2020 and 2021 were more challenging. I’m sure it was different for others.

I don’t think people will ever agree to any more than the fact that stress does not provide an excuse for people to behave like donkeys.

I never said it was an EXCUSE.

You know... PENNDOT didn't FORCE me to drive through that intersection, the poor design of the intersection can CONTRIBUTE to an accident happening... even if it didn't FORCE or DIRECTLY CAUSE the accident.

Why is this so hard for people to grasp?

Oh I grasp it, I just don't agree with it. Why is that so hard for you to grasp.

Lol guess I'll go rob PNC because they are making it sooo stressful for me refinancing my mortgage (try doing that while retired) They are "contributing" to my mental breakdown by making the process so hard, asking me to verify every single thing and I'll definitely blame the roofer because if he had fixed my roof the first time I wouldn't be so stressed every time it rains .....

Man, there really are times I weep for society.
