I met the Little Mermaid, Jodi Benson, at a benefit here long ago. I was star struck, but she was so very nice. The benefit didn't have to do with anything concerning the movie, just relationship with a friend from a local church. She really has such an incredible voice. What an amazing talent!

If we're so insistent on keeping the Frozen Sing-Along, could we get rid of Frozen Ever After? We don't need two Frozen attractions in two separate parks.
You're right. We need three or more. Well, four or more since you're not counting Blizzard Beach.

I bet an Elsa AA would be more functional than a Yeti...

They’re very different from each other, and there are plenty of IPs with more than one attraction tied to them.
I mean, I don't think we need two Little Mermaid attractions, three Beauty and the Beast attractions, and two Finding Nemo attractions in two different parks either.
Yeah, especially for such an unpopular franchise that doesn’t really resonate with young children at all.
Well, then, just move the Frozen Sing-Along to EPCOT's Norway pavilion then. That way the two Frozen attractions will at least be in the same park.

Mermaid beauty and the beast and Nemo are all Good examples of previous IP appearing in multiple parks and the there are examples of the same IP appearing in two Parks, internationally....

Peter Pan attractions appears at Tokyo Disneyland and at Tokyo Disney Springs Fantasy Springs.

While it would be *satisfying* to have attractions based on the same IP next to one another, or to be in their own mini-land, WDW rather purposefully spreads them out among four parks.

This is so that whatever park you go to, you can interact with some of their top tier IPs. Especially since the three non-castle parks have so few attractions, they each need big ticket attractions to bring people in.

Another example, yes.

Still feels a bit silly. Wouldn't they rather see guests go to more than one park, as opposed to just one, which would hypothetically make them more money?

If you could only find princesses and Toy Story in MK, a huge chunk of families wouldn't go to the other parks.

Also, WDW started to do this before the age of one-IP-lands.

What is this insistence people have of trying to diminish Frozen's wild popularity and impact? It is one of their modern crown jewels. Just because you might not be the target demographic doesn't mean you have to like it, but millions of people do. With Frozen 3 coming, I'd expect more Frozen infusion into the parks. Also the Frozen attraction from Fantasy Springs looks like one of the best modern rides made yet.

How about building one strong Frozen attraction instead of shoving budget-conscious half-measures into spaces in which it doesn’t fit?

As a side note, Frozen 2 was one of the worst animated films Disney ever produced. I have real doubts about their ability to maintain the franchise at a reasonable level of quality.

Frozen in Norway is def lacking in places, but it's a solid attraction that does good numbers. The stage show is delightful and fun and well produced.

Frozen 2 was not one of the worst animated films Disney ever produced, not by a long mile. It's ok to not like things, but it's a real stretch to diminish the popularity of this franchise.
