Really? You need a bigger imagination.I can’t imagine them taking down a ride at AK without adding any first
I was surprised when his LinkedIn seemed to line up with what he told me about his job, to be honest.I’ll believe it when someone hears it from a bus driver.
I mean, they closed Splash before TRON opened.I can’t imagine them taking down a ride at AK without adding any first
Splash isn’t in a park with only 6 other ridesI mean, they closed Splash before TRON opened.
Shall I use DHS closing Backlot Tour, Lights, Motors, Action, and Great Movie Ride as an example then?Splash isn’t in a park with only 6 other rides
Im not saying you’re wrong. I just think they have the opportunity to do things the “right” way here, and logistically it makes little sense not to.Shall I use DHS closing Backlot Tour, Lights, Motors, Action, and Great Movie Ride as an example then?
I am at a loss this point. I’d guess that once Tiana is close something new will be announced or they will literally have zero construction projects underway.I'm thinking D'Amaro will announce the greenlighting of the Tropical Americas expansion/replacement of Dinoland USA at D23 2024 (August 9–11, 2024).
So it should be completed in, perhaps, late 2028?
Well they need to wait to see how many people book vacations for Journey of Water, first.I am at a loss this point. I’d guess that once Tiana is close something new will announced or they will literally have zero construction projects underway.
The optimistic side of me agrees. The realistic side of me says, yea no chance. I just think at this point a zebra can't change its stripes. The way star wars was galaxys edge was handled really showed me all I need to know about how they handle expansions. I do hope you're right, but I wouldn't be able to bet on it.Im not saying you’re wrong. Concept art for stuff that will never be built doesn’t draw itself. Why continue paying all of these Imagineers to crap out ideas if you don’t plan to build any of them?
They could do literally EVERYTHING faster if they wanted. They could do Indy faster if they want.
If they close the attraction first that’s less money they have to spend staffing the attraction.Im not saying you’re wrong. I just think they have the opportunity to do things the “right” way here, and logistically it makes little sense not to.
They keep saying “experience”. I bet it’s VR trash. There’s no room for a physical Pandora. Also do we know what the Avatar attraction is that is planned for Disneyland? If it is something new/different, could it also be added to DAK?

So that would have to be a VR experience...like what we already have here in FL without a "land" around it.... Unless they get rid of the speedway and the old peoplemover tracks...then they could build a little more out there....I thought it was replacing Launch Bay (i.e. the old Carousel of Progress building)
