I'm thinking about a Mickey Mouse AA that's true-to-size (for Mickey, anyway) - about two to three feet tall, rendered in his classic style (the one used for both the 1930's and new toons), with the projected face-tech and the fluid movement of the Frozen Olaf AA...wow, it could be amazing. I hope we get concept art for this ride soon!

And I sure wish it was being built somewhere else...

1. Mickeys magical mystery tour
2. Muppets 3D
3. RnR coaster (possible re-theme)
4. ToT (possible re-theme)
Star Wars land
5. Star Wars adventure ride
6. Star Wars falcon ride
7. Star tours (is this closing?)
Toy story land
8. Toy story mania
9. Slinky Dog Dash coaster
10. Alien swirling saucers

Shows like fantastic, fireworks, frozen ect.
Themed shops, restaurants to the surrounding land.

Mickey's just might be the headliner.
This could be a great park
I'd say it's better than it stands now, but only a beginning to what could be a great park.

Right, it would be a solid foundation. Much like Animal Kingdom, it has a solid foundation. Always room to improve.
DHS always felt scatter brained to me and never a classic park. Though it has classic pieces.

The spiel for TGMR is pretty poor, adding in the Osborne narrative doesn't really help. More importantly, they failed to address the horrible audio issues in the attraction. Yes, it's nice that they refreshed some scenes and improved the finale but I really dislike Osborne being in the attraction at all.

Not that it matters now, but if there were to go the update route they could swap out Tarzan, Footlight Parade, Alien and the Cowboy/Bank Robber scenes/interaction. I also would have liked to see a substantial update to the Fantasia sequence with a Mystic Manor type feel and I think that's far more likely in The Mickey Movie Ride.
I remember riding GMR last year I remember not feeling as amazed or blown away like my first ride for the attraction back in 2004 and 2006. I remember the finale felt more amazing since it contained small screens of various films all playing at the same time while the vehicle was leaving the area slowly. I remember some shorts of Tom and Jerry were seen in a few of the screens back in 2004, 2006.

A ride featuring just Mickey? Hmmmm.... Honestly, I can't really see that being a big hit. Mickey is the heart of Disney, but I don't think today's guest has ever seen most of the old Mickey films. I could more envision a journey through the history and evolution of Disney Animation films, starting with the mouse of course and perhaps guided by him, but with scenes from the most recognizable films through the years... Snow White, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, all the way through to their most recent films, the list to choose from is endless. The music, the moments, the heart and soul of what has made Disney what it is. Although I love the Great Movie Ride and would miss it, that might be a worthy replacement if done right.

GMR had been one of my favorite rides since I was a kid and visited WDW for the first time. I thought everything about it was great. Last time I went on it was is 2014, and it has been a skip ever since. The scenes just felt old, the acting was really bad and dated, and I left the ride feeling overwhelmingly disappointed. To say the least, as much as it stinks that this once great ride will be closing, its not as big of a loss as everyone is making it seem.

Now if they closed SSE then I'd be in full on rage mode right now.

They re-theme a few rides, and make Mickey Mouse the centerpiece of the park. They could call the park Walt Disney Studios or something along those lines.
Simple and effective. Everything in the park from Pixar to Lucasfilm will be under that umbrella.
Would be easy to market.

This could be the start of a great park
Maybe they might finally update the segments for Fantasmic.

Is that a shock to you though? Disney hasn't been creative in the US in years. 0 original idea attractions, just shoehorning whats popular at that time.
Everest was the last original ride stateside or DCA's Red Car Trolley if you count that.
I hope you haven't read the reviews for Suicide Squad on Rotten Tomatoes! :jawdrop:
I'm really not surprised. Recent DC movies suck except for the Dark Knight Trilogy.
20 months, started 9/25/2014, opened 5/24/2016.
For comparisons sake, WDW's Splash Mountain took 22 months.

Let that sink in.

I remember the female hosts felt cringy when I rode it in 2015. She sounded like she wasn't as interested or showed any emotion throughout the ride. I don't remember much about my first two times on it in 2004,2006 but I remember the CM who hosted during my past two visits felt more into it and actually made use fell worried about them.

Toy Story Land could've been done by next year but that's not happening :( They let BLT sit for over a year and a half, if not longer without demolishing it.

There was a reason for that it was divided between those in Flower Street, they were already at version4 when they showed it off at D23 now version 5. Now I hear that it may be getting tinkered with and may unveil a 6th version at D23 next year.
