Any chance we see John Wayne or Clint Eastwood with a pirate hat?
I certainly hope they can re-use The Wicked Witch since that was a full articulated AA with great motion. But the rest? Ripley only turned her head. Tarzan was a mannequin on a stick. The rest had limited motion with just one or two joints moving and really old and dated facial expressions.
Let's not think anywhere near the majority of AAs in this attraction are suitable for a new, state of the art attraction. After a few decades, servos and pistons and whatevers are no longer serviceable. A good portion will be trashed. At least, I hope so, since what was there is barely usable as a store-front mannequin.
retty
That wasn't an animatronic. It was a dummy with a head that swiveled back and forthI hope they save the Ellen Ripley animatronic. At least for educational purposes on how not to build an animatronic...
That makes the scene even creepier. Imagine if they had updated the ride for 2017 to It with Pennywise the Dancing Clown explaining to guests--by name--that they'll float, too. That wasn't an animatronic. It was a dummy with a head that swiveled back and forth
The place were things are built, repaired, re-proposed, repainted or left to collect dust. It used to be on the backstage tour, don't know if it still is.Someone's gonna have to define a "central shop" for me. Auction?
Just saying I would love Judy Garland, and the lion, tin man and the scarecrow. but I would die to have the Judy AA.I certainly hope they can re-use The Wicked Witch since that was a full articulated AA with great motion. Weird typo. Fixed now! What does that mean?

I think it stemmed from the quote as "I'm pretty sure the rope swinging pirate..." Sometimes if you start typing before all the html code is in place it gets pushed to the end or front of the quote.Ah, good to hear. The Urban Dictionary definition left me wondering....
Have had that issue myself as well lol.I think it stemmed from the quote as "I'm pretty sure the rope swinging pirate..." Sometimes if you start typing before all the html code is in place it gets pushed to the end or front of the quote.
