The proposal I know of doesn't affect the theatre.Any talk about Impressions becoming a queue or is it safe for now?

I feel sorry for those cups who will be smothered by thousands of visitors's butts. You're probably right. The vehicles do look like squished versions of Chip's siblings though.
I haven't mentioned my dislike of Chris Beatty in a while, thanks for reminding me.Don't be upset then.
BTW the FLE wasn't "highly successful". More of an internal disappointment.
This was never official info that it would close. Just speculation it will close when the 3 year deal worth TCM is up which is not for another year or so. Nothing has officially been said it would close.Does anyone have any update on when the Great Movie Ride will close?
Thanks for the reply, just wondering if anyone had an updated unofficial info on the closing timeframe as we will be going in a few months. This was never official info that it would close. I haven't seen an update recently from any of the insiders. I asked a similar question in another thread recently. If I had to guess I would think they might try to wait until next year when Toy Story Land opens since there is already so much ride capacity removed for construction. It would still give them 3 years to have the new Mickey ride open for the 50th anniversary. Thanks for the reply, just wondering if anyone had an updated unofficial info on the closing timeframe as we will be going in a few months.
True they can't afford to have anything else closed before then. I still think it could get announced this D23 but I guess in theory they could close it next fall and wait until 2019 to announce it or just announce it in a non D23 setting.I haven't seen an update recently from any of the insiders. That's just my theory. I think the insiders were saying it might close before 2018.True they can't afford to have anything else closed before then. That sounds closer to the truth I don't really see how they could shut it down before TSL, but then again we've said that before and here we are with half the park shut down. That's just my theory. I think the insiders were saying it might close before 2018.
Sadly I'm still told yes.Is this thing even still green lit?..
Wisdom to tell management: if it ain't broke, don't fix itSadly I'm still told yes.
Iger has that quote on a poster in his office printed out over an image of the tower of terror. I hear he laughs and takes a shot every time someone uses that phrase at him.Wisdom to tell management: if it ain't broke, don't fix it
Wait does he really?!Iger has that quote on a poster in his office printed out over an image of the tower of terror. I hear he laughs and takes a shot every time someone uses that phrase at him.
Well... it needs a little plussing... The Tarzan characters and Sigourney Weaver need a little work.Wisdom to tell management: if it ain't broke, don't fix it
