I agree...sort of...but we had a blast over at the GF pool the day we went over there and wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience the GF pool had the POLY had a hot tub.One basic amenity i was surprised to see Poly lacking when i was there is a hot tub, not sure why it doesn't have one and its kind of stupid to have to go over to GF for one.
Interesting. Seems likely the construction is ahead of schedule as rumored.Yesterday the state approved the timeshare license for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. This allows DVC to begin selling the Poly.

Unless it is in an adult only area I find most hot tubs become baths for the whole family. One basic amenity i was surprised to see Poly is lacking when i was there is a hot tub, not sure why it doesn't have one and its kind of stupid to have to go over to GF for one.

Click on the additional info link at the bottom of the license. It says 8252 weeks. Divide by 52 equals 159 units. Were the Grand Floridian Villas finished ahead of schedule? I remember moving down here last January and being so surprised by how quickly they seemed to go up.

I think he was talking about length of time...8252 weeks, divided by 52 (weeks in a year) and that gave 159 years (though he said units)
In its 10K, Disney counts all DVC units as "two-bedroom equivalents".There are more units than that. Tahiti alone has 143 rooms. Tokelau has 144 and Rapa Nui has 74 along with 20 bungalows. Even if they turned every room into a one bedroom (taking up two of the old rooms) that would be 180.
how long are they planning for the lobby refurb to last? The rest. I think some were double posted so sorry about that.
Yesis the entire 4 sides on both the first and and second floors walled off?
