Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Cabanas is the new one on the Dream. I meant that Cabanas felt like it had a much bigger selection than Topsiders. :)

Great stuff i thought so too from pictures that ive seen.... Best start my diet soon...... 2 to 3 weeks of free dining plus a week on the Fantasy could involve some major eats :sohappy::slurp::sohappy::slurp: :sohappy::slurp::sohappy::slurp::sohappy:

Just a suggestion, but is it possible to lock this thread? We're now talking about a lot of stuff that probably deserves its own thread and probably aren't FAQ material. Just a thought.

Hmmm. I don't know! I thought we'd keep it open and if anyone asks questions that everyone probably wants to know, we'd add it to the first post. But we could still do that from other threads. If a thread is locked, can I add to the first post?

Id be inclined to keep this open!

I will always post a question here rather than start a thread for a quick Q&A!

And this thread is becoming a Great source of info!

Thsnks goes out to Disneyfalcon, thanks Tammy

Yes, they have it, up on the sports deck. It's free. You also get what you pay for. Run of the mill el-cheapo course. But then they are not going to be constructing mountains and rivers and underground tunnels on the deck of a cruise ship.

I found that it is a pretty much a walk on in the evenings.

Just a bit of easy fun

Cruise question

What happens to your luggage at check in? Do you leave it somewhere or lug it on the ship with you? If you leave it with luggage handlers, about how long does it take to be brought to your room??
Thanks!

Your luggage is easy! If you drive or take a non Disney shuttle, you pull up and give your luggage to porters that are all over getting luggage. They take it and deliver it to your room a few hours later. It just shows up! :)

If you are on Disney transfers, Disney will take your luggage from the airport or your WDW resort and you won't see it again until it shows up in your room.

No hassle at all! :)

Just to be sure, and I may be wrong. OKW does not have a Cruise Desk. So if you are not on a land and sea package, you cannot check in at OKW. So if you are leaving on a Disney shuttle from OKW, and you booked the package yourself as two seperate trips not as a land & sea package, you would have to put your luggage on the bus yourself and then give it to a porter at the cruise port.

Or did I get that whole thing wrong? I know there is something about certain resorts not having cruise desks and a difference if you are land&sea or not.

Well things have changed a little. None of the resorts have check in desks anymore. So you will have to do that once you reach the port. If you purchased Disney transfers, they will pick you up at any Disney resort. The resort will let you know about what time the transfers will pick you up. :)

Thanks for clearing that up

Do you get immediate access to your room upon boarding or is it like a hotel and the room may or may not be ready just yet?? (We have a 12:30-1:00 boarding slot)
