While the level of service, attention to details, etc. is all there, there is very little in the way of animated characters. If you want to see characters, you have to look for them (most of the time).

Really? I didn't think it was that hard to find characters (and there's a huge section of the Navigator dedicated to finding them on the ship)

I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, but I think what David was saying was that you can very easily avoid the characters. When DW and I went on our first cruise it was just the two of us, and we were not interested in seeing characters. While we didn't go out of our way to avoid them, they were never intrusive or in the way at all. We just didn't stand in line to see them.

Thats pretty much it. Character appear at a given spot at a given time. You rarely find them just out and about making "random" appearances.

Not to be contradictory, but this wasn't really true on our cruise last week. We had characters simply stroll by our lounging spot on Deck 12 at least two different times to "chat" and pose with guests. We also bumped into Mickey in a hallway, ran into Tiana at a coffee bar, and had a couple other run-ins like that. They weren't rampant, by any means, but I'd say about 5 or 6 times over the course of the week, we had a random character meeting

Odd,

The three cruises I have been on, we have rarely seen characters just out roaming. Must just be random.

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
another question,

If i book, lets say, a four or five day cruise while onboard the Magic can i then change it to any other cruise no matter the length??

And will any onboard credit, discount and half price deposit transfer to the new booking??

Great stuff on the bookings!

And that is crazy!

Why did they change it?

What kinds of puzzas have you seen at the brunch?

The pizzas at brunch are the same and yummy! I think they were the same as dinner?

I don't know why they changed it!
