debate: To engage in a formal discussion of opposing viewpoints

argue: To engage in a quarrel; dispute.

If a 14 year old can not maintain themselves on the forums, perhaps there should be a minimum age limit.

Look, it's a nitpicky thing, and I know it, but I think it's one thing to defend someone when they're being attacked in the thread in which he/she is being attacked, and it's another thing to start a thread just to gripe and moan about people who gripe and moan.

Point taken... and I agree. But I felt like I should say something in her defense, since I've been reading here long enough to know that there are a ton of people who agree with her criticism, even though they may not agree with the way she went about making it. When it comes down to it, it wasn't really a criticism of the site, but rather of a few select people.

Ah well... enough of this subject for me. I'm going to go back to my usual relaxed pose.

So... what's everyone's favorite ride? Oh, and anyone have thoughts on POFQ vs. POR? :D

For all the Sherlocks out there...I am 19, and will be 20 next week...

I didn't want to start off on the BAD foot, but I also don't understand why some of you guys think this is an online snooty country club, where I must impress you with the level of my posts and how many I have posted. And now, you are having fun telling me "I won't last long here"...

okay, now i'm being kicked out!

LOL (uh oh, IM speak...kill me)

however, the great thing about the anonimity of the internet, there are various middle aged 13 year olds with PHD's and a Ferrari in the driveway ;)

...maybe it was a teenager who wrote the post

I am sorry, but are we not given ample time to learn how to type and spell at school? I know I was, and I still am given that time. I type my post, read it again, and post it. I then read it yet another time and edit it if I find an error. I think if a 16 year old can do that anyone can. If there is a word I can't spell and don't know an other word for I note that with (sp?) that lets people know I am unsure and at a loss for words to replace it. Peolple respect that, not people ignoring the fact that they can't spell. I am now stepping down off my soap-box. I appreciate you listening.

 Alright, now that last line I feel is directed at me and I don't think I've done anything to deserve that. Of course there is nothing wrong with the LOL or the ROFL or even *gasp* the LMAO. It's the short-hand "do u c wut i c" type of thing I was talking about, that and the complete disregard for punctuation. I think it's an insult to teens that anyone would suggest that they are not capable of expressing themselves in an intelligent manner. Hundreds of teenaged members here prove you wrong.

Don't worry Erika, might have been directed at me too since I mentioned it. You definitely did nothing to deserve it and even when you're mad, you still come off as a sweetie :p

Each side is starting to get personal, so I think it is probably time to rap this post up before the eye gouging starts. Let's all agree to happily discuss Disney World.  :D I personally have never stayed at POFQ or POR, but if forced to decide, I'd choose POR because it has more bus stops, and I strongly dislike doing any real walking outside of the parks.
