With the current state of Dinosaur, huge amount of effects that don't work one would assume that it will go down for return in the next year or two. I have a crazy idea but it could kill two birds with one stone.

Why not try to incorprate Indiana Jones some how. Indiana Jones and The Forbiden Island. He could be exploring a newly discovered island and go missing. The university hires a search and rescue party that you are part of. The only problem is when you get there the island is inhabited by prehistoric creatures and dinosaurs. Can you and Indiana Jones escape alive? I would try to expand the ride to the original length before the cut backs with the bridge scene or maybe a waterfall scene.

Ok this is what I would to with the rehab.

1. Do you like this idea?
2. Could you ever see something like this happening
3. Could the ride be expanded at all?
Sounds cool. Maybe Id ride it then.:D

Well so much for any hope of us getting a clone of Indy, since Dinosaur is pretty much the same thing...

Ridetrack doesn't have to be a clone. Wouldn't be exceptionally expensive to make some design changes. Everything else is different. This would already be rolling if that last Indy Movie had been a little more popular. Maybe Shia Labeouf can get WDW this attraction some day.

I have been on both Dinosaur and Indy and they are 2 completely different experiences. Dinosaur: you ride around in the dark with a nerd constantly talking obsessively about this "Dino" the whole trip with lovely Dinos everywhere... Indy: You enter in one of three doors into 3 different treasures, go on a huge adventure past fire, skeletons, giant king cobra, bugs, rats who happen to fall in your vehicle, arrows, and of course the Ball. Don't get me wrong I like Dinosaur but when you compare the two you can never say they are the same. The problem is I don't see a good fit for indy anywhere, DHS sure but it would kind of odd having a temple tourist attraction of the 1930s/1940s in the middle of the jungle just happen to be 2 steps from the Golden age of Hollywood... The would have to either build a new Lost River Delta at DHS or put it in Adventureland at MK since it hasn't had a new E ticket for nearly 20 years. Animal Kingdom + Indy= No solid story. Animal Kingdom is as the title says: about animals not Indy.

It's very easily done at DHS. It simply becomes an Indy movie set. That's how the At-At works in front of Star Tours and even the current Indy Stunt Show.
