Heck to this day you can still find people that think the left and right sides of Space mountain have different track layouts.
You better sit down for this one.....What are you saying...
Aside from a little curve in the middle it is true. Do a search for the layouts I posted a while back.I've been told multiple times that it isn't just the ride vehicles. The entire attraction has the same layout. Turns, hills, ect. is identical. Anyone know if this is true?
I don't know. On the Maharajah jungle trek it would be nice to see Indy with his whip in the tiger enclosure.Indy has no place at the Animal Kingdom.
Then again, Dinosaur could always use a little Stitch...
Seriously, though, I like the idea of redoing cars so that there could be a "green" version of the ride (not good for environment green, but M:S green) where it just follows the track and doesn't bump on the chasis.
I couldn't say for sure, but I think it could work out that enough people would want that to justify maybe one car at a time being tame.
Enough green versions already. Suck it up people. If you can't handle the action, stay home and rent movies.
That's still a pretty bold statement. :fork:That was mean!! Let me amend that:
Stay in Fantasyland.
Does that mean he shouldn't have the same pleasure the rest of us have?
Just because someone was born with a bad back doesn't mean YOU can condemn them to gentle rides.
No. I'm sorry, I should redescribe my idea a little more. All the cars except for one would keep going the way their going. One car, however, would be for those who don't care/can't do the bumps and whatnot. This is assuming that there would be enough people that would want this ride experience, like there was with M:S. YOUR ride would still be just as jolty and jumpy as always, but the ride would still be available who want to go on it, without getting hurt. Just because the ride doesn't have the rocking on the chasis doesn't mean that it's "tame." It's a theme park ride, not an amusement park ride, many people appreciate the story telling aspect of the ride, and the fact that it takes them somewhere else for a few minutes. I think everyone deserves that.He should be able to enjoy himself but I bet we would have different definition of pleasure. I enjoy the jolts and bumps on Dinosaur. I'm not really arguing that a 'tame' version shouldn't be available just that there would be people who didn't even find that pleasurable. But doesn't creating a 'tame' version condemn them to gentle rides, also? There a logical fallacy there. It's not really the designer that is condemning them, it's their back.
Hun, how does Indy fit in with the story of Dinoland USA? Dinoland is a clash of the fun, go happy Chester and Hester's with the Snobby, selfish Dino Institute. Both of which give a ride back into the age of the Dinosaurs, but in two completely different contexts. I actually like Dinoland and Dinosaur how it is. Indy doesn't belong, this is similar to your complaint about Its a Small World and your wishing for Mysterious Isle in MK.With the current state of Dinosaur, huge amount of effects that don't work one would assume that it will go down for return in the next year or two. I have a crazy idea but it could kill two birds with one stone.
Why not try to incorprate Indiana Jones some how. Indiana Jones and The Forbiden Island. He could be exploring a newly discovered island and go missing. The university hires a search and rescue party that you are part of. The only problem is when you get there the island is inhabited by prehistoric creatures and dinosaurs. Can you and Indiana Jones escape alive? I would try to expand the ride to the original length before the cut backs with the bridge scene or maybe a waterfall scene.
Ok this is what I would to with the rehab.
1. Do you like this idea?
2. Could you ever see something like this happening
3. Could the ride be expanded at all?
