Anything would be better than the previous Narnia attraction it felt dated and out of place.

Especially once Disney was no longer doing the movies. I just cant believe it took this long. (well not really, its about par for the course.) I hope this is a cool little attraction and they really do WOW us like they say it will.

It's also odd in that the previous uses of this space were about either upcoming movies, or movies that had been very recently released. Pirates 4 is a year old now (and will be older than that when the attraction actually opens), and there is no current talk of a sequel on the horizon. When you consider that part of the complaint with the Caspian walkthrough was how much the movie had aged, it makes one consider how this attraction's shelf-life will be compared to its cost.

Still, it's nice to see that Disney is focusing on DHS for a bit and hasn't given up on the idea of the A-ticket attraction. Should be nice to visit when it opens.

What is this new 'attraction'? ... Sets and costumes from the four films? Is there anything beyond that?

I'd send a PM to Lee. Based on his posts here, I believe that he knows 'stuff'. :)

Btw, even though I'm a very high ranking member of the 'Pixie Dust Brigade' , and you are the 5 Star General of the 'Doom and Gloomers' (kinda like the Hatfields and McCoys I gather), I hope you enjoyed and had wonderful vacation experiences.

Come to think of it, for this reason alone I should be a bit more excited about 'Great Moments with Mister Sparrow'.

A-tickets and the little stuff add so much life to a visit to a park! They're the bubbles in the champagne, even if it's just air it adds the sparkle to the overall experience.

Lee and I speak regularly. I keep him in a cage in my basement (although not the ones I put the younger fanbois in!) ... I NEED my Dr. Evil smiley ... this new format ain't working for me at all. Seems ready to plug into Disney's NEXTGEN initiative ... maybe I'll 'like' BTMRR!

And I am NOT a 'Doom and Gloomer' ... not by a mile. I am a realist. I see the good, the bad, the ugly and I ask questions. I don't accept PR talking points or marketing pablum as anything more than fetid. hot BS.

But, thanks, I largely did have wonderful experiences.Portugal, Spain, France and Germany are beautiful countries full of friendly people who don't 'hate Americans' ... seeing DLP after 2 1/2 years was great, if somewhat sad because management is allowing it to crumble ... and visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens were great experiences too. About the only negative was my first lousy cruise ever (stay off Celebrity), but I survived and some of their management's careers won't.:)

I have had similar thoughts. I think it means somebody has lost faith in somebody else, Walt Disney World either thinking that the Studio's live action films are too risky to promote or the Studios thinking the park is no longer a worthwhile use of the marketing budget.

Yes. I don't foresee myself making a trip up there this summer just to see this.
I plan on giving it a cursory walk through on my next trip (provide it's open in September), but I don't have high expectations. I have higher expectations for Enchanted Tales with Belle, even though I don't expect I'm in the target market.

Anyone know what we might be looking at inside? Costumes, props, that kind of thing? I read elsewhere on here that a pirate ship was being/has been installed (???) but I can't recall who said it or when.
