Will it look as good as AvatarLand?SWL construction alone is just over a billion.
Not including roads. Nor fireworks. Nor anything else.

It really makes you wonder where the heck that money goes when similar quality expansions are done for much less. Who the heck is running the books at WDI?Wow. And that's for... two rides. I know they are aiming high for the overall quality of the land, which is a good thing, but I hope there are some other quality non-ride attractions included in that price.
Between SWL and AvatarLand, that's 4 rides and 2 billion plus bucks. It really makes you wonder where the heck that money goes when similar quality expansions are done for much less. Who the heck is running the books at WDI?
Admittedly, a billion doesn't go as far as it used to but t does seem like Disney is finally willing to spend some money. We can only hope that Imagineering makes the best creative use of what they are given.SWL construction alone is just over a billion.

Hogsmeade was apparently $265 million and Diagon Alley around $400-450 million according to rumor. How much was Harry Potter? Anyone know?

Given what I know it seems DHS. But I hope it is shared R&D though I cannot confirm this.Does that include shared design costs with DL, or is that just the DHS portion?
It should look fantastic. Albeit a little small. Will it look as good as AvatarLand?
Good to hear but kinda sad that it will be a little small. Love Muppets but it could have a been really cool to connect Star Tours with the land.It should look fantastic. Albeit a little small.
@Mike S didn't you read an article about a third attraction for SWL that got cut because of the budget? Something like a Peoplemover type of attraction? It should look fantastic. Albeit a little small.
This is true.@Mike S didn't you read an article about a third attraction for SWL that got cut because of the budget? Something like a Peoplemover type of attraction?
That's depressing. I really enjoy the peoplemover over at TomorrowLand. It gives you chance to really soak in the whole land from a different angle, relax or if you are tried or trying to get from point A to point B.This is true.
According to MiceChat a people mover style attraction was planned, and TDA was pushing for it, and allegedly while it was still the "One Disney" thing TDO pulled their trump card and had the third attraction axed as they didn't wanna pay for it. Just what I read, not sure the truth behind all of it@Mike S didn't you read an article about a third attraction for SWL that got cut because of the budget? Well My Disney Experience cost over $2 billion and resulted in 0 rides. We're skewing in the right direction.Between SWL and AvatarLand, that's 4 rides and 2 billion plus bucks.
Well MyMagic+'s goal was to not create new rides and prevent further new rides by increasing capacity on existing ones. I think the number is up to almost 3 billion nowWell My Disney Experience cost over $2 billion and resulted in 0 rides. We're skewing in the right direction.
I forgot I will be experiencing the Disney Magic for the first time using the magic bands in a few months. There is a lot more planning than before, I like to go with the flow but don't want to get the stews put to me.Well My Disney Experience cost over $2 billion and resulted in 0 rides. We're skewing in the right direction.
Skewing but not there yet. Not even close. There still needs to be a cleansing of all toxicity.Well My Disney Experience cost over $2 billion and resulted in 0 rides. We're skewing in the right direction.
