As I've stated before there is a full Cars Land version planned.
Does this model give any indication as to where the exact location would be within the Studios?

LOL I didn't mean for that to come across as me being annoyed. I was just stating the fact.Cool. I hope I'm forgiven for losing information in the Fog of War.
Your word on these matters is golden with me!
Thanks for sharing this.

This. What I had heard is that John didn't want it coming to DHS in the stripped down form that TDO wanted to build. Lasseter was adament about all or nothing.
This.
Early word I got was that he wanted it to be DCA only. Lately that's been clarified. His argument was against just bringing RSR by itself. He doesn't want to break it up into pieces.
Have you heard if he is gameplanning for a Luigi replacement?
I would surmise that Luigi's will simply not be included and the land will be a bit more compressed. Although not strictly part of Carsland, the replacement attraction would be the MI coaster.

I agree, I would really like to see a Monsters Inc. roller coaster/motion simulator where you fly around Monsters Inc.If they are looking at it like a straight up trade then awesome, I'd trade Luigi's for MI Coaster (even sight unseen).
They could put this right in CarsLand if they had to. As an interior ride, they could just dress up the outside like Route 66 with a big neon sign with Mike and Sully. I can see it now...I agree, I would really like to see a Monsters Inc. roller coaster/motion simulator where you fly around Monsters Inc.
Well... Mike, Sulley, and the Abominable Snowmobile do appear in the closing credits of Cars in the film, Monster Trucks, Inc., which is being shown at the Radiator Springs drive-in. (There are actual diecast toys of all three vehicles as well.)They could put this right in CarsLand if they had to. Wow I didn't know tht park cost that much!!! The park looks absolutely stunning in all the photos I've seen so I can certainly see why. Was this one of the parks Disney paid for on their own or did Japan help fund them?
He's over at the New Fantasyland subforums, this thread in particular going "nah nah nah, New Fantasyland is far superior to Cars Land, fact"-
