They blacked out the windows at the restaurant adjacent to it's a small world when it was down for it's rehab. If they're worried about crowds, then I would assume they would do the same thing.

Look,I don't know more than the people in charge, but I know what the fans want.

Read the forums much?
You may know what YOU want, but please accept the fact that NONE of us have access to the information concerning what the public (or majority of fans for that matter) want.

I'm basing my statements off of what I see other board members say. It's a common fact that some/most people on here don't like MILF and SGE.

That's it.Nothing more.

1. There's a HUGE difference between SOME and MOST.
2. The members of this board are a micro-percentage of the guests at WDW. Not quite a scientific sampling.

Be careful when you make broad statements as facts when they are only opinion. ;)

Not broad...We have a broad spectrum of members each with their own opinion,Not all of us are the feared "fanboys and purists".It's just just a observation that those two attractions don't like those two attractions.

It's like arguing the wand all over again...

But the fanboys have all the RIGHT answers. :zipit:
go easy on him

Lee Martin: sounds good about the supports. would these only be in the exposed areas or even in the lift hill etc. i know that the lift hill is directly above the TTA and some track goes right next to them.... so would all this be gutted, or for easing complication, some of this part stay, just reinforced

Negative? Try, truth. But, feel free to tell everyone how you know more than the people in charge.

Since when do the "people in charge" know whats best?? Take a look at the leaders of Enron, Hewlet-Packard, Home Depot, Gap, and even greedy Michael Eisner. These people ran businesses into the ground and tried (and in most cases suceded) to walk away with millions of dollars and partook in various unethical business pratices.

I think wannabadis might be including you too in her comments.

Oh, by the way wannabadis, just because you seem to think there is not a very broad "spectrum of members" doesn't mean you are right. I make it a point to try and determine people's background and motivation for posting here and it absolutlely amazes me how varied the backgrounds of people are here. I think you may not know what you are saying. I also believe these boards DO offer a pretty fair sampling of the average Disney fan's opinion. We are just a bit more vocal here on this board.

Nope, it was directed at the two, but I'll gladly add you now. (Him, by the way.)

Backgrounds don't mean a thing. That "broad spectrum of members" are on a DISNEY FAN site. Please, you really need to stop while you are ahead. You can get a sampling of a broad spectrum of people from a Cat food coupon list, and I bet a high percentage would like cats. Do you really think that percentage would mean ANYTHING outside that listing?

Well said!:sohappy:

Thanks! :D

As are people who just read this site (both registered and non-registered) and people who actually go to the parks. So what would you consider an accurate sampling? People who never go to WDW? It's nonsense to think the opinions here are not representative of Disney fans in general.

It's assumed that if you come to this site you are a "fanboy" or "fangirl" and I think that includes you. I love how people use that term as an insult or pejorative now. It's usually said in a condescending tone. It sounds like you are saying, "you are all just "fanboys" but I, the great and awesome wannabadis, am so much smarter and know so much more that you should just be happy I bother to stop in here and set you morons straight".

So yeah, Space Mountain refurb!... :lookaroun

Does anyone think that (besides Splash's annual refurb), having Space down for a whole year will throw off the schedule of the smaller, two to three week refurbs we've been seeing lately (like the current Jungle Cruise refurb or the upcoming work on Pirates)?

Well, with Merf having flamed out...guess someone has to step up to be the resident expert and conscience.

lol

It's interesting how some really get upset if someone actually questions their "views." You're right, the usage of 'fanboy' is not meant to be endearing. The usage is meant to show the difference between fans and those that believe they have all the answers, but usually post primarily from self-centered motivation.

An accurate sampling of WDW visitors is taken from a cross-section of visitors AT the park or via a method of selection of recent visitors. By coming to this site, you are setting yourself apart from the MILLIONS of people that visit the parks. The number of REGISTERED (not even contributing) members here does not even equal the number of people in MK in a single day.

But, don't take my word for it... please, go to any site on the web and look at a user poll. It states "this is not a scientific poll." I know that some here want to think that by banding together with other (somewhat) like-minded people, they can assume they know what is best for the business of Disney. That's far from the truth.

Take a look at a post you made earlier...

I'm definitely hoping this is a refurb where the Imagineers are looking at the "big picture" and TTA is part of it. It only makes sense they would update it at the same time.

Do you REALLY think the Imagineers are not looking at the big picture? Plus, at what point does what YOU think make sense mean it actually makes sense within their plans? True, having the TTA down while SpM is down does seem to be a good time for a refurb. But the problem with the statement is that WE do not have ALL the facts. If they do not make any changes to the TTA during the SpM refurb does not mean they screwed up. (The way you wrote that statement infers if they don't... it would be a mistake.) It just means they made a decision based on many factors we do not have access to.
