-Design a new Guide Map for EPCOT-

Today i was revisiting some of my old paperwork from previous WDW visits to get myself pumped for my annual 'pilgrimidge' in 3 weeks.

As i was looking over some of this stuff, something rather obvious struck me and and inspired me to create this thread.

The EPCOT Guide Map. It still has 'Nemo' on the cover after..what..2/3 years ?

I realize that this is the Parks' 'newest' attraction but i think it is long overdue for a visual change to the front cover. There are so many OTHER aspects of EPCOT that can be showcased on the front cover..and to me, 'Nemo' is the LAST THING i would associate with the Park of Wonder.

Take a look at these awesome Guide Map covers from the past.....they really conveyed the sense of such 'Wonder' in a much better way in my opinion....

Now take a look at the current one....very 'eh' ...

I think it's high time we saw a change on the front cover. So let's all have some creative fun and DESIGN A NEW COVER for the Guide Map! I will post my two examples below.

I know you guys have a lot of great ideas and can do all sorts of neat things with your Photoshop tools and the like....so GO NUTS and let's have fun showing our ideas for what the 'new' Guide Map cover could be!

Here are two example i put together....this first one i REALLY like a lot ( photo credit goes to St. Chris!)

This other one i thought was interesting...though the photo of SSE is 'retro'....not always a bad thing, but i am sure Disney would prefer a current SSE image.

Looking forward to your forthcoming covers!

Oooh, very nice. I like the first one personally, but the 3 suns in that second one definitely makes you wonder. :lol:

A FoN/SSE pic would look nice too, especially if it was at that twilight point of day.

Epcot at 10 should have been a guidemap cover all along, not just a lithograph. Great piece of art.

Oh, and the current guidemaps don't have Nemo on the front anymore, it's the Mission: SPACE image they used a few years ago.

AWESOME news! Sheesh...figures...i make a thread like this after waiting 3 years for a change and they finally DID change it.

Hurrah! I am SO happy to see 'Nemo' is finally off the front cover.
