Yes
I would give a lot to go to one of these Expos.

All of the details that come out of Zootopia have really excited me more for the movie. Definitely the most I've ever looked forward to a movie in my life. I hope it won't disappoint come March.

Tom Fitzgerald was already "given power" over EPCOT more than a year ago, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that Marty Sklar's comment was a confirmation that anything new of substance and quality is coming to EPCOT.-

Fitzgerald has received a lot of (legitimate) criticism by Disney fans, particularly for his apparent favor of predominantly video screen based rides (poorly implemented ones mind you). Apparently having a large hand in the likes of Toy Story Mania and Ratatouille. WDW1974 in particular warned last year that Fitzgerald gaining power over EPCOT was definitely not something Disney fans should be excited about...

I actually wonder if he had anything to do with the Frozen ride taking over Norway. At one point in the past he was apparently involved in a lot of the classic EPCOT attractions (as a script writer apparently where his actual talent lies), but he handled the promotion to higher positions of power at WDI very poorly. It was also mentioned in the same discussion that Fitzgerald inflamed a lot of the bureaucracy and toxicity that WDI has now come to be known for. Including helping to neuter and fire (sorry I meant "taking on a consultant role" as they refer to firing big wigs at Disney) a lot of better imagineers such as Tony Baxter and others. Sounds like he got paranoid and power hungry, perhaps not unlike Eisner...

I do think I recall @articos saying he thought Fitzgerald cared about EPCOT and its original purpose, but there's a lot of conflicting information on the matter.

We have had zero issues getting into everything we want to see. Stage Pass, similar to FastPass, helps and the larger Hall D23 has really made a difference. We have been to all of the popular presentations and again have had zero issues getting in. The negativity on this forum is unreal.

Dolling out cash to see Disney announce things that you will have to pay for to experience anyway. #pixiedust

I found this under the radar statement by Marty Sklar interesting.

I was at the Imagineering panel today and my eyebrows raised when he said that sentence.
Seemed like a slip in the moment.
People around me stirred too, so I didn't imagine it .....it was noticed.

One can hypothesize what this might possibly mean, in anything beneficial.
Marty shows Fitz in a good light, but some of us out here have other views.

I've been a fan of Danny Elfman's work since the mid-80s.
Would have enjoyed seeing this in person, along with animator Andreas Deja, but alas, the entrance line was not even in the building until a good hour+ into the 10am panels.

I already knew I would not make any of the morning panels, but you should have heard the disgruntled people around me.
Most knew nothing about the overnight people being way ahead of us in line, not to mention D23 Members.
