Star Wars Land was definitely an earth-shattering announcement that I don't think anyone was expecting during the Studios presentation. Makes me even more excited for what they have to announce during the Parks and Resorts presentation!

Yep, it's a real cluster. Feels like they have less staff than 2013, and a woman passed out in line just ahead of us. She was attended to but they made zero contingencies for the heat.

14 acres is the equivalent of 10.64 football fields. It's big. In dimension it's 924 feet by 9240 feet. That's nice size

For size reference, this is 14 acres. Looks like it would be all of echo lake, current Star Wars area and all the Streets of America

Push that out into the Parking lot. (Hence the need for a new garage...)

God, I hope not. Even WITH the spinning, Mission Space is widely considered a disappointment. Take that away and what are you left with other than a generic motion simulator?

The only thing that could ruin this for me is if during the P&R they add more details and say "coming 2020!"

But I don't even care right now, I'm just so delighted! It seemed like they were going for a big impact with this announcement, and by surprising us all with it now, mission accomplished!

Even the D+G knew something Star Wars was coming to the parks to the extent was not known, also when D+G say nothing is coming nothing of epicness.

I agree. A little more innovation would be appreciated. Imagine the queue being a walk through the Falcon, then entering the cockpit via a door. Exciting
