I wish the words Toontown is leaving came out of Bob's mouth... but at least this confirms it for those of us who aren't crazies.

It probably dips a bit more into the frontier land plot or takes out some space behind Small World.

For size reference, this is 14 acres. Looks like it would be all of echo lake, current Star Wars area and all the Streets of America

Current Star Wars area doesn't count though. 14 acre EXPANSION means current Star Wars plus 14 more.

Here is more specifically what I see based on the rumors that have been around these boards for years. This make the LMA area for the Cars ride and give Pixar more area with that. This is just over 14 acres mapped out here.

Huh I was trying to avoid crossing the train tracks. Also that would be clearing a lot of greenery as well. Only time will tell.

Eh, that's a bit disappointing. Like all of us here I was hoping for a bit closer of a completion timeframe.

That's why I'm actually looking forward to Pixar a bit more, because I would think they'd open that sooner.

It would be a shame to lose the Roger Rabbit ride, I know the IP is dated, but I think its a fun dark ride with a cool spinning twist on the normal dark ride. Is there anyway at least it could be saved?

I don't know if this was picked up during the hype going on but all the shops in the new land will be run by locals, as in CM's dressed up either as aliens or humans and in character 100% of the time.

Probably didn't mean the word expansion or use it properly. Just like technically they are repurposing areas of DL. So that isn't really an expansion either. Just word play.

I love this news and I love everything Uni is doing. Uni has five plus year before this opens full of new attractions and hotels and announcements of their own. It just makes visiting the Orlando area longer and more frequently more of a priority for those of us that aren't just into doing lines of pixie dust but like more variety in our attraction habit.
