In order to be scared, one has to have a soul, which these people do not. 🐸☕
They don't, but they ARE cowards. Look what's happened every other time they get protested at their homes. They freak the hell out like people there have pitchforks and torches.

ETA: They're also bullies. Stand up to them, and their true, cowardly nature comes shining through.

If I can change he topic for a second

mutations:

With the soon to be out of control spread of delta around the world is there any chance we have a mutation that makes it more contagious, so that it becomes the dominant strain, while being significantly less deadly?

If so is this statistically less likley to happen then a mutation that makes things worse?

Viruses are going to naturally select to be more contagious and to kill more slowly. I virus that kills a lot of people 24 hours after infection will not get a good chance to spread.

I thank God everyday I live in a democracy and have the freedom to make my own choices. The downside to this is that freedom extends to all, and they can use that freedom to make stupid decisions. I am not at all comfortable with the idea of forced vaccinations. Vaccination requirements for school, employment, and going to mass gatherings (aka Vaccine Passports) I’m absolutely fine with, but the idea of forced vaccinations is wrong even if done for the right reasons.

Yeah get ahold of yourself bud. I’m not some sicko the celebrates death.

You keep going on and on about mitigation’s that only slowed the spread when this thing wasn’t 300% more contagious.

Vaccine passport?

No that’s to hard WAAAAA

Going to the freaking moon was hard

WW2 was hard

We are the U.S.A

We do hard things

It’s time to remember that
What should have been done is some mitigations stay in place til a high percentage is fully vaccinated. The issue seems to be that you there is 50 little countries doing what they feel like.

I feel the way I do is that while each province in Canada does their own thing and have their own rules for the most part during Covid they all worked together.

I understand where you're coming from, but the idiots refusing vaccination just to refuse it may leave us no choice.

There is no sign on peoples head that they have taken a vaccine thus the advice of not having to wear a mask if vaccinated is abused. Alot have not had a vaccine and on top aren't wearing masks. That's the issue rite there.

I wonder why they aren't pushing covid passports?

Whatever one thinks of the policy, let’s at least be honest about why it’s happening. LA County isn’t saying that there is a medical need for vaccinated people to wear masks. The motivation is to ensure that the unvaccinated keep their masks on.

The science hasn’t changed; rather, the honour system has failed. Blanket rules are an inevitability when people refuse to do the right thing.
That's great. Except the only people likely to actually comply with the new rule are the vaccinated ones.

Because some in this country have already proven that they will get violent if they don't get what they want.

This is a fair point given that the police (if I understand correctly) have refused to enforce the rule. But that wasn’t what I was getting at anyway; I was addressing the disingenuous suggestion that the rule is somehow anti-science and nonsensical.

Everyone just needs some patience. I think this takes a big turn when the vaccine receives full FDA approval and schools and businesses are more comfortable requiring.

I fought to get my vaccine as soon as I could. I fought to find spots for every member of my family as early as possible. But I still have mixed feelings about requiring it before it receives full FDA approval.

Yeah 100% agree with you here.

But who’s fault is that?

The freaking CDC.

Im also pretty sure they ran it by the man at the top before they announced this.

You expect them to walk this back now ?

I don’t even think they can.

Massive mistake.

Now your going to say, dude your the same guy arguing that masks and social distancing shouldn’t return and your saying getting rid of it was a mistake!

Yes.

I think bringing back the mandates would cause even more chaos then it would prevent.

The genie needed to stay in the bottle and we are out of wishes.

Agreed. That ship has sailed. Due to that it's why I said you deserve the consequences that are happening.

It's why I don't get all the 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉 going on. Covid is far from being over. It's great that things are opening back up again and people are able to enjoy life a bit of life again. It's far from the time to be celebrating anything.

So it's turning out that the more calm, rational doctors like Scott Gottlieb and Youyang Gu were wrong and the panicking, doomsaying zero covid cult was right.

One reason is that it would be very difficult to do nationally due to a patch works of laws and executive orders that put limits on vaccine passports in various states.
