What do you see a Fantasia Land being like? I really only saw it being contained in and around the Castle, but I'm open to something grander!
I was thinking it could have 1 entrance from within the castle into a sort of indoor/outdoor courtyard containing all of the magical things and music. With two other entrances from Fantasyland, but it would be through passageways within the chambers of the castle. Then from there, there could be mystical portals that transport you to different lands ex. Neverland & Wonderland.

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. I'm just nervous that if we let the brainstorming process linger for too long that we'll lose touch with the project, you know?

The Reluctant Dragon is still something I wanna do, in addition to the Fantasia attraction going in tangent with the Castle. I'd really love to keep my Pooh in Fantasyland concept alive, if there's any interest in it, as well.

I'll make a brainstorming thread very soon for Fantasia!:D
Awesome -- thank you for making that!

And I agree 100% - it's a common practice with "for fun" projects to be excited for a week or so and then interest teeters out. I will not let that happen here -- and with the help of everyone we can try to keep it as concise, clear, and organized as possible while still allowing everyone an opportunity to participate!

What are your thoughts on using slack?

Ok so let's nail this down. The for sure attractions are Peter Pan's Flight, The Misadventures of Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland; Beauty and the Beast, Marry Poppins Jolly Holiday, Mr. Toad coaster, Tangled, and Fantasia ride inside the castle. I believe we are still doing Casey Jr. for the Fantasyland tour. In that case, Dumbo would still be a flatride. The only thing in question are the other flatrides and the reluctant dragon experience. If it's also okay, Pooh is going to border Critter Country and Fantasyland. The stage show is being worked on. We also need to figure out what we are doing with Snow White.

Initially I wanted Pooh in Fantasyland, but with how big Fantasyland got, and with Critter Country being right beside Fantasyland, I proposed that it could go in Critter Country. That way, Pooh would actually be able to have its own mini land, or at least some additional flatrides (my idea was that every segment of the original package film would have its own attraction). People probably still think I'm adamant that it goes in Fantasyland, but I'm not.
No worries. I was just confused because last I read Winnie the Pooh and Toad was leaning towards Critter Country and then I saw Toad was on the map so I thought maybe I misunderstood. But then I saw Winnie the Pooh listed above and thought: how did I miss that conversation? (Obviously I did :hilarious:) I just wanted to get better understanding of what's going on. I thought I was pretty on top of this, but the above proved me wrong. :p

Don't worry Figment. I'm almost as confused as you! :hilarious:

Was there any thoughts on snow white? We're we going to use the mine train but make it longer and better?

I have no clue. Maybe we were, but I thought that was for me Toad. I just want to know how big the other dark rides are and then I'll know what type of ride it needs to be. Peter, Pinocchio and Alice are my babies, so I want them to be big :D:p. I don't know how big Tangled or Beauty and the Beast is. I assume Mary Poppins is big though.

That's fine if we use it for Toad because I think the speed is better used for Toad. I would like to see the run through the forest that was in Scary Adventures. That was always the scariest part for me and as I grew older, it was one of my favorite parts.

I'd actually like the Snow White ride to just be a relatively normal dark ride - just maybe on a bit larger scale. Kind of like Monsters Inc or Roger Rabbit. For some reason I'm imagining it in the courtyard. No real reasoning for that. It actually probably makes sense in the forest section, but it's what I'm feeling.

As far as smaller transition lands between the large lands I think this could work. However I strongly feel that Worlds Fair should be the transition between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland because of IASW. and I'd potentially be okay with Worlds Fair being a full size land instead of tomorrowland.

I agree with Snow White. It could be between the courtyard and forest. If you really think that about world's fair, that's fine, but we'd have to cut the Atlantis and Treasure Planet attractions that people wanted, and we would need a new transition land between Main Street and Tomorrowland.

Toad is the smallest dark ride, it's based off a wild mouse coaster. Tangled is next smallest - largely because it's a compact trackless system spread over two floors. Pooh, and Snow White are unknown - probably similar sizes. Pinocchio is about the size of mine train and just slightly bigger than tangled because of its environmental features. Mary Poppins is large and roughly the size of the Haunted Mansion
Pan is probably the same size as is the entire Beauty and the Beast complex, though that's also probably a restaurant and meet and greet. Fantasia is unknown as it might largely be underground- though there's a substantial amount of land set aside for it

My idea is that the four major lands (fantasy, tomorrowland, etc.) would have transition lands b/w them. Critter would be b/w frontier and fantasy, discovery cove would be b/w fantasy and tomorrow, and worlds fair would be between Main Street and tomorrow. I thought Mansion should go in one of the other two transitions, but I don't know which one.
By the way, I really like these transitions!

I'm just one person lol. And those attractions could be kept, though you're right that they probably wouldn't fit in a Worlds Fair land.

I'm not entirely sure there needs to be transition between Main Street and the other lands as the hub fills that role. Even if going with a shanghai layout. Unless people really want the ring layout - I just always find a ring hard to navigate.
