Toad is the smallest dark ride, it's based off a wild mouse coaster. Tangled is next smallest - largely because it's a compact trackless system spread over two floors. Pooh, and Snow White are unknown - probably similar sizes. Pinocchio is about the size of mine train and just slightly bigger than tangled because of its environmental features. Mary Poppins is large and roughly the size of the Haunted Mansion
Pan is probably the same size as is the entire Beauty and the Beast complex, though that's also probably a restaurant and meet and greet. Fantasia is unknown as it might largely be underground- though there's a substantial amount of land set aside for it
This seems the most accurate. Pinocchio will likely have the longest ride through, but mostly because it's a boat ride. It'll probably be just under the time length of Splash.

By the way, I really like these transitions!
I actually like the idea of a discovery cove next to Fantasyland. So scratch what I said about Worlds Fair being the transition. Though it still might make a good replacement for Tomorrowland - idk I really like presentational design aesthetic, Edutainment, etc ala old school Epcot and I'm kind of biased with really wanting a permanent place for that to live

I think that could still fit with Tomorrowland, you know, like the old white optimistic Tomorrowland. Unfortunately, Small World becomes a problem again.

I figured we expand on the template created by the Mine Train, and have Toad be the same tech but with the twists and turns of a more traditional Wild Mouse coaster... what do you all think?

And for Mansion, it could tucked away in the depths of our Forest section, but that may contradict the medieval feel we were going for.

Mansion could fit between frontier and adventure, or adventure and Main Street like Mystic Manor at Hong Kong.

I was thinking around 5-6 minutes for Pinocchio. It's essentially the same scale as the Navi river journey is. Splash is crazy long both in terms of ride time and actual track length.

Actually, since we're ok that topic based on the designs so far my best judgement is:

Flat rides: 1-3 minutes.
Toad: 3 minutes
Pooh, Snow White, Tangled, Pinocchio : 5-6 minutes with immersive but relatively normal queues
Poppins, BatB, Pan: 8 minutes - all have extensive queues, preshows, or post shows that add to that time though.
Fantasia: 8 minute actual ride, 20 minute full experience.
Casey Jr: 10-12 minutes.
Show:30 minutes.

Missing anything?

Just saying, Pinocchio has A LOT of important scenes, almost all of which are skipped in the Disneyland ride, which is why that ride is pretty pathetic. Peter Pan can be summed up in less time, and that's coming from me (Peter Pan being my favourite movie of all time).

The Mansion could go almost anywhere (I dig the Main Street placement - but that requires Main Street becoming more of an entire town - which could be interesting). I like it the forest outside Fantasyland but Alice is most likely already going to look like a mansion

8 minutes is a lot for an attraction, especially one with faster moving vehicles like Peter or Batb. Casey Jr. Could also probably be about 8 minutes. Aside from that, the times are pretty good. We just have to keep in mind how they fit size and ride system.

It's been such a long time since I've seen Pinocchio. It's current placement doesn't allow for much longer than 5-6 minutes unless there's extensive multi-leveling. I will say that a lot of Splash's length comes from the outdoor sections and drops - presumably that Pinocchio has less of (didn't think it was meant to be a fluke). The actual storytelling portion of splash is only around maybe 7 minutes and the scenes are very compact. Hell even Disney Worlds Pirates is only like 7 minutes.

I think we're actually thinking the same thing most likely.

By far the best low-key dark ride that works over and over again is IMO Snow White. It's subtle, but the beautiful feel is magnificent. It's also interesting to note that at Disneyland Paris the smaller attractions have nice queues. Very small, but nice.

I think Pan would work wonders as a headliner. Pan, Poppins & Beauty makes that 3 big attractions that I'm sure will all work great, but the fact that we have so many ips seems a bit excessive. Even in Fantasyland, there is usually at least 1 big non-ip attraction.

I think a non-ip mountain attraction like the Matterhorn would help this. Thoughts?

7 minutes seems right, 5 just seems too little. The scenes that have to be included in the actual ride through are the town, the actor portion, strombolis cart, the trip to pleasure island, pleasure island, the search for Monstrosity underwater, inside monstro, and the finale. The beginning scenes could be presented in the queue.

Fantasyland is IP the land. The only exception would be Small World, which we purposely cutout. I'd say Pan and Poppins are the headliners, but I hate to not make Alice, BatB, and Pinocchio spectacular experiences because they are some of the best movies.

I think pan and poppins are the headliners but most of the attractions as we've designed here would each be worthy of headlines if they opened by themselves. (Speaking of which thank god is a fantasy Fantasyland - cause so much of this would have to be done in phases)

To the IP argument, both The Fantasia attraction/area and Casey Jr I think will be heavily original and only tangentially related to their source material. Actually very similar to how the Matterhorn is technically based on Third man on the Mountain.

Correct. I'm wondering if it would be best to make Fantasyland more like another park within the park. Essentially a version even larger than the Magic Kingdom's.

Personally, I think we should put Wonderland and Neverland on the right side and connect them to Fantasia as it could be the otherworldly location while the other parts of Fantasyland are places from Earth.

Just to get an idea.
